3rd visit, love this site. So convenient and well looked after. The dog facilities are fab and an easy walk to the village, and pub for a meal if you don't fancy cooking.

Great site. Clean, organised and great staff. Only criticism would be that the Wi-fi was poor and non existent on our pitch. The on site restaurant was great and well priced. If you just want a relaxing site, this is it.

Quiet peaceful site. Excellent facilities. Clean, tidy park. Enjoyed the on site takeaway. Would highly recommend a visit to the Dorset heavy horse centre. It is only 10 minutes away, very entertaining and plenty for children. We had only booked for two nights to experience our new van and test our driveway awning. Will definitely be back again.

Overall a good campsite in which to stay. Staff are helpful and approachable and the site, including all facilities are modern and well looked after. Location is good, with only a few miles of narrow lanes away from A roads to get there. There are a couple of improvements that would need to be completed if I were to book another stay. The advertised Wi-Fi is extremely poor. No matter where I roamed around the site, even in the information room, the signal was weak and extremely slow. On our pitch the signal was non existent. I did ask the person on reception to feed this upwards as, for the pitch price, I would expect a decent Wi-Fi signal on all pitches. This day and age, it is simply a must for a lot of campers. The showers were clean and we'll maintained with the water being a good temperature. However, the press button controls on the three showers I used during my stay had to be repeatedly pressed approx every 5 to 8 seconds. This was too short a period and made an enjoyable shower much less enjoyable. Please give us at least 20 seconds per press. Not too much to ask is it? Apart from these 2 issues, I would give the site full marks.

It is poor in the information room because it is projected forwards from there towards the pitches, so it's good if you're sitting on the bench just outside.

I would recommend this site to anyone. We will be staying here again. The site is very well laid out and maintained to a very high standard. All the staff we spoke to were very helpful and polite. The addition of the on-site Thai restaurant and takeaway was a major bonus too, the food there was fantastic. Fully recommend.

This is one of our local go to places when we want a quick weekend getaway. Facilities are always spotless, even when the weather is as challenging as it was. It poured all weekend lol. Didn't stop us from taking advantage of the lovely Thai restaurant on site. This is probably the last weekend we'll have there before it shuts for the winter but we will most definitely be back next year!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked the wrong pitch and they switched it for us on arrival with no issues. Pizza, coffee hut and Thai on site was a nice bonus. Definitely recommend and stay again.

We found this site to be conveniently located for the Dorset Coast. Easy check-in as barrier uses vehicle registration and all information clearly communicated by email before hand so quick to access and set up on pitch. Great facilities, showers lovely and hot! Everyone onsite was very friendly, particularly the lady in the shop and the staff on the coffee/pastry gazebo on site. There was nothing to fault and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hill Cottage Farm.

This site was exceptional from the slick booking, to the clear and timely pre-arrival communications, to the stay itself. Arrival was the easiest I've ever experienced, with the ANPR system opening the gate as I drove up and then able to drive straight to the pre-allocated pitch ready to set up. The pay-per-use electricity system was easy to use and ready to go on arrival. The pitch was large and clean, with privacy hedges between them. Electricity, water and grey waste were straightforward to connect and worked flawlessly throughout. The free WiFi was a bit patchy but the mobile signal was OK so no bother. If you wanted to you could arrive, stay and leave without speaking to any staff, but we did and they were friendly and helpful. A small shop stocked a decent amount of basics and the toilet and shower block was clean. We used the onsite Thai restaurant for takeaway on the first night, which was welcome and great. There was also a coffee and pastry stand over the weekend mornings and a pizza stand in the evening. The on-site dog walk was a good length and linked to a lovely walk to the nearby village, making it easy to access the pub and co-op shop. Plenty to see in the local area too - overall a wonderful few days in a great site that we hope to return to.

This was our families first camping experience so we are not able to compare it to any other sites, however I can definitely say that we will be going again! The facilities were great, it also has a free fishing lake if that is of interest. The site is very dog-friendly, lots of walking areas including a very nice forest trail.

Excellent campsite - lovely people and loved the privacy of the hedges. Coffee lady was fantastic and so was the pizza and the Thai - all yummy. My only issue is there was not a secure field to let your dogs have a run about, which I feel is a necessity as they have all travelled a long way to get to you.

A brilliant site. Pitches were a good size, the staff were friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets were clean. Love the number recognition gate which made the site feel safe. I would definitely go back there again.
