Red Sky at Night Campsite is located just over the border in Wales, 15 minutes from Monmouth. This pop up, summer campsite offers non electric grass tent and campervan pitches with access to eco-compost toilets. There is farm produce and fire pits available, along with a play park, rope swing, tractor course and mud kitchen for kids. For day trips, Abergavenny, Forest of Dean and Wye Valley are within a 20 minute drive!

Quiet site in a really stunning location a few miles from Monmouth. We stayed with our dog and there are beautiful walks from the site. Chloe was very welcoming and helpful and site is nicely laid out with large pitches. Acknowledging that the weather may have been a bit atypical for the Welsh hills (warm, sunny, still, dry!), it was definitely one the best camp sites we have stayed in.

What a fabulous site - the basics done brilliantly. Chloe is a fantastic host of a beautiful campsite. The pitches are very generous with plenty of space between them. All of them have great views and enjoy wonderful sunsets. We're coming back!

We stopped here for a quick one night getaway and we weren't disappointed. A wonderful eco campsite with beautiful views. The pitches are spaced apart really well. Owners are friendly and helpful. Facilities are limited but we were fine with that, and there is still space to wash up and a sink for handwashing and teeth cleaning. We didn't travel with children but it looks like this is a child friendly site with play areas and a walk.
