Clear filters Great site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Great site to introduce my partner and dog to camping. Very helpful staff who were always happy to help. Location was great as it remained quiet even with the road not far away.
The animals were an added bonus which the kids on the site seemed to enjoy interacting with. 2 Toilets and 1 shower available which became a little busy at peak times but the site was very busy. All in all a great stay and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful
Jul 2025 The site was amazing. Stars where awe inspiring. Full of happy campers, and the hosts were above and beyond with locations, services, help, and constantly insightful about the area with a smile.
The sights and farm/wild life are impossible to describe..

A beautiful spot Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 A peaceful few nights sleep in a beautiful spot. Facilities were spot on and children loved how close they were sleeping with the sheep and the ducks.
We will be back next year as we enjoyed ourselves here.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Came on a motorcycle, the fella who runs it is very friendly and happy to have a chat with you. Very helpful when needing to locate certain things on the site. They do fresh eggs in Tyler morning as well.
Plenty of farm animals in the fields and hens freely roaming around up close and personal. Views were stunning as well.
Would definitely come and stay again.

Great place
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Lovely located rural site but not to far from the nearest town, with large pitches, toilets and shower were expectable there's also washing up facilities and an Elsan point.
Our hosts Philippa and Nick were welcoming and friendly.
You can walk across the sheep field to meet the pigs and goats with a short walk along the river and maybe have a dip.
We would definitely return.

Lovely little site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Campsite was a real find. Really quiet and well laid out.
It could have done with a couple more showers but the one it does have is fabulous.
Really helpful owner allowed our mate to pitch his tent up by our camper which was really kind and helped out brilliantly.

Amazing location, amazing price
Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Stayed here for 1 night in our tent box and it was a perfect nights stay. Amazing views and the price was amazing as well!

Excellent well maintained campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Remote well maintained campsite with basic facilities and immediate access to hills for hiking and a river for paddling.
Recommend for a single night whilst travelling North or South, or for a peaceful longer stay.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 We had a great night camping at Bush of Ewes with our 9 month old daughter.
Peaceful and great sized pitch areas to have the tent and car with plenty of area left to get the fire chapping.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Lovely site, friendly owners. Beautiful calm views.
Loved this site, stayed for 24 hours and the views were amazing, really quiet - except the sheep 'baas', which only added to the stay.
Lovely owners, very friendly. Loved that you could walk in the field amongst the animals, even had cute ducklings, the pigs loved a scratch. Only 4 stars for toilet facilities only because it is dated. However, it is clean, has hot water and always stocked. Only 1 shower.
Would come again and recommend.

Friendly owners who welcomed us despite a later than planned arrival.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Stayed for 2 nights, so peaceful and tranquil, so nice it isn't crowded. The owners are welcoming and helpful. Sheep, goats and pigs to see and chickens with fresh eggs to buy. Would stay again.

Overnight stay
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025 First time overnight stay when visiting a friend nearby. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place.
Owners very friendly. Welcoming feel about the place. Lots of farm animals to view, adding to sense of nature. Limited, but good, facilities. Next to A7 - not busy for a main road but a bit of a shame that it's so near.
Overall, wonderful views and experience well outweigh proximity to main road. Recommend and will be back!
