Camping Skye is a peaceful woodland setting on the outskirts of Broadford village and just off the A87. Campers can pitch up on non electric grass pitches, while tourers can opt for one of the electric hardstandings, both with incredible mountain views. Collect essentials from the handy shop onsite or head on a ten minute walk to pubs, restaurants and a bus stop. Enjoy a scenic walk along the sandy Ashaig Beach, only a ten minute drive away!

About the site

Relax at this peaceful, woodland campsite, home to an incredible mountain backdrop as well as sea views, with Bradford village a ten minute walk away. Being off the A87, it's a great spot for exploring Ashaig Beach (10 minutes), the Bens, historical landmarks, lochs for watersports, and plenty more. Onsite, there are 20 non electric grass pitches for tents only, as well as 26 hardstanding pitches for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes, each with a 16 amp electric hook-up and individual BBQ/awning area. The site is part of a community-owned woodland development that also includes allotments where various groups can meet and take part in wellbeing activities, as well as a proposed Forest School for local children. Any profits from the campsite go to support further community activities - so by staying here you are helping to build a sustainable future for a whole community on the Isle of Skye. Dogs are welcome onsite!

Site facilities include free showers, plus a disabled access toilet and shower. Hair-dryers are provided (50p). Washing-up sinks and laundry sinks are located indoors. Washing machines (£4) and a specially-designed drying room is also on site. Free Wi-Fi is available for all guests.

Local shops and restaurants, and a bus stop with links to major routes, are a five minute walk from the campsite.

Site rules and policies

Check-in: 2 pm-7 pm, check-out: by 11 am on the day of departure.

10 pm-7 am is quiet time on site.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and exercised off-site. You must bag and bin dog waste.
