About the site

This quiet, family friendly campsite is situated on a working farm, next door to a fascinating ancient Neolithic monument. Mature woodlands nearby provide a natural habitat for wildlife and, as well as awakening to a wonderful dawn chorus, with a little bit of fieldcraft and patience, you can expect to see red squirrels. As a former cricket ground, you are guaranteed a flat pitch as well as plenty of safe space for children to run around. There are a total of 33 non electric grass pitches and eight electric grass pitches, each allowing tents and up to eight guests. For tourers, there are nine hardstanding pitches with electric hook up. The site is located within five minutes of the A55 enabling access to most areas of the island within a twenty minute drive. There are also plenty of stunning beaches, including Trearddur Bay and Rhosneigr, within 15 minutes of the site and you can be at the heart of Snowdonia (including Zip World) in less than an hour. Each pitch also comes with its own fire pit, perfect for evenings of toasting marshmallows. BBQs are also allowed so make sure you bring your chef's apron! This is a peaceful spot and the owners would like to keep it that way, so please be aware that the site must be quiet after 9:30pm. Please note, this is a dog free site.

Presaddfed - Druids' Rest is open from 30/04 to 01/09. Pitches from £28/night for 2 people.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

The camping site was beautiful and calm and serene. The staff on site were lovely and friendly and kind and offered coffee and hot chocolate in the morning. Fire wood could also be purchased at the shop. My children absolutely loved their time there. The children had so much space to run around and really enjoyed visiting the fairy woods. The only drawback was the weather, suddenly gone cold and wet and we went during spider season. Lol. Really enjoyed the stay there.

Lovely stuff

Large Tent - Electric Hardstanding PitchesAug 2025

We had a lovely time at this site, it's very well located to visit lots of places nearby. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and keep the site clean and tidy. Our pitch was unfortunately located next to a sewage pipe and so we had regular wafts of unpleasant smells. The family showers were great and spacious but there are only 4 so often lead to queues. The kids loved the fairy garden and the giant games! There are rules around quiet times but sadly that wasn't always enforced and there was often loud music or noise into the early hours, which wasn't great for us with young boys. Overall,we enjoyed our stay.
