About the site
This quiet, family friendly campsite is situated on a working farm, next door to a fascinating ancient Neolithic monument. Mature woodlands nearby provide a natural habitat for wildlife and, as well as awakening to a wonderful dawn chorus, with a little bit of fieldcraft and patience, you can expect to see red squirrels. As a former cricket ground, you are guaranteed a flat pitch as well as plenty of safe space for children to run around. There are a total of 33 non electric grass pitches and eight electric grass pitches, each allowing tents and up to eight guests. For tourers, there are nine hardstanding pitches with electric hook up. The site is located within five minutes of the A55 enabling access to most areas of the island within a twenty minute drive. There are also plenty of stunning beaches, including Trearddur Bay and Rhosneigr, within 15 minutes of the site and you can be at the heart of Snowdonia (including Zip World) in less than an hour. Each pitch also comes with its own fire pit, perfect for evenings of toasting marshmallows. BBQs are also allowed so make sure you bring your chef's apron! This is a peaceful spot and the owners would like to keep it that way, so please be aware that the site must be quiet after 9:30pm. Please note, this is a dog free site.
