Aerial of Church Bay Cottages Camping and Touring Site towards the coast

Church Bay Cottages, Camping and Touring is a family-run coastal campsite on Anglesey, a two minute walk from the blue flag beach in Church Bay. Choose from a range of grass tent and touring pitches with metered electric and dividing hedges for privacy. There is a tasty onsite food truck in summer, with a seafood restaurant and cafe next door, or a pub a ten minute walk away. A popular spot for kayaking, bodyboarding and the Anglesey Coast Path!

VW-Type Campervan - Small Electric Grass PitchesApr 2026

lovely campsite with easy access to the beach and coastal walk, WIFI not the best but very clean facilities although quite basic. No shops near by, cafe next door and restaurant/pub across the road. Really helpful couple would do anything to help our stay be the best. we didnt have the best weather so would be even better in the sun.

Site's response

Thanks for the review. I’m interested to learn more on the scores so we can improve.. I see you wrote lovely clean facilities.. but we only scored a 3. What would you like to have seen? Also you mention they are basic.. can you elaborate so we know what people would like to see? Thanks

Lovely, well positioned site

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Medium Electric Grass PitchesApr 2026

What lovely owners! Couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Nice, tidy and well thought through site. Facilities are good, though not sure if the 2 showers and 2 toilets (in the ladies) would be adequate at busy times. Generous grass pitches and large central area - not sure whether this is used for tents at peak times but not for our stay in April Church Bay itself is a lovely beach/cove. You may need to stock up for your stay, as no decent shops to nip to. Burger/snack van run by site during high season. Just as well, as pub does not serve food, cafe is closed on Mon and Weds and can't do take outs and the restaurant is apparently nice though pricey. Would def stay there again 😊

lovely little place. close to fab beach, cafe and restaurant. lovely friendly owners too.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Medium Electric Grass PitchesApr 2026

Fabulous campsite, very well managed by Paul, who was friendly and approachable. Need lots of 20p coins for the showers, which were spotlessly clean (but a bit chilly underfoot in April!). Excellent walks along the coast in both directions. Fab cafe right next door, and posh restaurant opposite, though we mostly self-catered (stock up before you come, the nearest shop is a drive away). Would definitely camp here again when we're in the area.

Great little spot

Motorhome - Small Electric Grass PitchesApr 2026

Great little site with nice views. Very helpful staff upon arrival and even provided wood for under our wheels to stop us settling in the grass. Everything we needed was to hand. Very close to a beautiful beach where the sunset was absolutely to die for.
