Motorhome - Fully Serviced Grass and Astroturf PitchesSep 2025

Stayed for a week; walks off site easily accessible, toilets and showers, some with washbasin and toilet with shower in cubicle very clean. Laundry room and wash up room immaculate. Reception has shop and DVD and book swap. There is a cafe serving delicious breakfast and evening meals, and a pop up bar. The best thing here were the staff, all very friendly, especially the husband and wife team in the cafe and Linda and Dave who seemed to work 24/7.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Paddock)Sep 2025

Good site, quiet, clean good pitches and good dog area. Cafe and great reception. Did not visit the bar or cafe but there is one. Negatives. There was electric charged on top. When advertised as pitches with electric, you expect it included. Wi-Fi was also extra. 3G and 4g were fine though. Showers were feeble in strength, and only 2 toilets but very clean. Liked the music in the laundry room and there was a hair dryer there as well. Good security with all gates secure and coded.

Site's response

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you didn't notice the electric charge. As you booked through Campsites.co.uk, that may have been overlooked and has now been rectified. I am not sure what part of the park you stayed on, but I am guessing woodside, as the facilities for those 6 pitches and the pitches at the north end of the Main Park, have 2 cubicles, the ratio is 1 per 15 pitches and so we have more than enough for the amount of pitches they service. Just for anyone reading this, we have 18 loos onsite in total.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Paddock)Sep 2025

Just back from our first stay at Fields End Water, it was perfect for us. We had a fully serviced pitch on Paddock, which allowed a great view of the sunset. The people there are amazing and very helpful, the system to allow entry to your pitch for late arrivals is faultless. Plenty of very clean and tidy showers and toilets, small but well stocked shop. The bar and cafe are both first class with a beautiful location. If you are an angler, the fishing is great with stocks of gear and bait in the shop. Some lovely flat walks in the area and a nice pub within a 30 mins walk too. We will be back.

Site's response

Loved reading that review, thank you.

A note from the site themselves...

Our site started as a farm diversification project when my parents built the fishing lakes. They were looking for someone to help on the farm and the fishing lakes business. Eventually, in 2005 the site was opened so I applied for the job and luckily, I was successful!

I had been working in London as an estate agent, with no experience of fishing lakes and caravan parks, but was more interested in this side than farming.

Since then, I have designed the whole park and project-managed the lot. I particularly love building and improving the site and, most of all, seeing how happy our guests are. We often have guests praise the attention to detail here, as well as the peace and quiet.

I hope to welcome you for a relaxing, friendly and memorable stay,

Charlie

Things to do on site and in the March area

There are two fantastic fishing lakes for all levels and abilities, so lie back in the sun and see what bites your bait!

Bring the dog on enticing local dog walks, or hop on the bus to March or Wisbech to buy a few bits at their pretty local markets. Cycling won't have you puffing around Fields End as there are very few hills, and the landscape is stunning.

You'll be all a-flutter with the beautiful local birdlife at the RSPBs fantastic nature reserve, so don't forget your camera for days out at Ouse Washes and Nene Washes.

Got a head for heights? Climb the tower of Ely Cathdedral and watch the city spread out before you. Even if you'd rather keep both feet firmly on the ground, Ely is packed with great restaurants, shops and more.
