Lovely area and bar nearby, beach was good too
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 A lovely location and checking us in was really informative.
However, the pizza takeaway wasn't open but luckily the "tai food" van nearby was open, but, the food from there wasn't very nice. My sweet and sour sauce was like water. But another cafe is near to the beach.
The site was nicely laid out. You do need to pay for the showers (50p) which was a bit of a pain and the toilets and showers definitely need to be updated. A bit tatty and although clean, had a feeling of grubby due to the condition. Overall, good for a couple of nights stay. Everyone in the area were so friendly and eager to help.
A gem of a campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 This campsite was a star find. Albeit the weather was stunning, the campsite quiet and our pitch was possibly the best for views on the whole campsite (27).
The facilities were perhaps a little dated and the showers worked on 50p's but I don't mind that, the cost of the pitches reflected this.
If you are looking for shops and restaurants or cafes nearby, then this is not the site for you, but if you're there for walking as we were, it's a gem.
Fabulous campsite!
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Stayed for one night during a recent tour of the Cornish coast. Everything from check in to check out was amazing. Friendly staff at reception who welcomed us. Attentive service when we had to call so someone was on hand when needed.
The pitch had electric hook up with our own water supply and our own bench in a private fenced off little area with sea views.
Toilets and showers were close by and immaculately clean and a shop and food van on site was also a bonus. I have recommended to my family and friends for their future camping trips.
Would 100% stay again if in the area

Lovely site, clean & well maintained
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Our stay was lovely despite the weather!
The only negative is the sloping pitches, I rolled off the blow up bed.
Cleaners go into the toilet & shower block regularly.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Beautiful location and very clean campsite. Small parks for the children to meet and play. Beautiful sea view. Not an easy walk to the beach.
