Loved the site

Chose Barley Meadows specifically to go to Castle Drogo but unfortunately, the road that would have taken a motorhome was closed. We could have taken the bus but not convenient with 2 dogs in tow. We will be back.

Lovely campsite

Superb campsite. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. There is even a bothy there with a pool table and fridge freezer along with books and DVD's. We stayed with a roof tent for one night. I literally fell asleep straight away at 10pm and the the whole site was silent! I normally struggle to sleep especially on the first night. We also had fresh water next to our pitch which was very helpful. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location too. Definitely recommended.

It’s a lovely quiet place.

Nice greeting from owners as you arrive Pitches are great with all the amenities at hand Soon as you drive in you can see that it’s well looked after Even the dogs have a secure little bit to run about in Will definitely book again

Great campsite

Couldn't fault the campsite, facilities were lovely and always clean. Would recommend!

Our stay

Such a lovely site, adult only which is great. Lovely welcome. Very clean neat and tidy and will definitely book again. Shame we only had one night but unfortunately we had to move on.

Fantastic campsite

Lovely campsite with fantastic facilities. Generous pitch sizes and everything you need to hand. Great for dogs, the dog area is great to let them have a run around with a poo bags/bin provided. David and Leigh are very helpful and were great at assisting us. We'll definitely be back to stay.
