Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly)Oct 2025

We had a very a wonderful 3 day break in a camping pod.The pod was very clean and the showers and toilets were only a short walk from our pod.Which were always very clean.Staff were friendly and helpful. The food we had in the club house was good. The only thing we missed out on was the day we went swimming we could not use the steam room it was out of order. But these things happen. If we are being really picky my husband would have liked a more local selection of Cornish or Devon beers/ciders in the club house. But this is only a suggestion. We had a great stay.

Motorhome - Electric Gravel Motorhome PitchesOct 2025

Great site with super friendly staff, so helpful in reception. As it was so close to the end of their season, we were very impressed with how lovely everything was maintained. The touring pitches weren't the best (would feel a bit cramped if it was full, but as there were only a couple of us it was fine). Nice hot showers and even a doggy bath. There wasn't many people on site, but they still did well with the entertainment. Overall great short break.

Beautiful place

Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly)Aug 2025

Lovely location, with beautiful surroundings. We loved our little pod and the surroundings, it was small but just right for our family of 4. It was a bit annoying that right in front of a lovely view/sunset there was this huge add about buying a holiday home… the only missing thing from the pod would be a mini fridge 👌🏻 The facilities could be better, the washing up area could be better and it would be useful to have a communal kitchen with microwaves etc. Toilets and shower room was not great, showers are really poor with extremely hot water and hard to use for little kids, but enough to have a quick shower. We enjoyed the pool a lot, it was very useful in the rainy mornings and everything looked clean with amazing water. The restaurant was disappointing because, although we got breakfast at the earliest time, it was quite cold. It was nice to have a shop close by. Although not all was perfect, it was a nice spot and very relaxing, close to Boscastle and other locations.

Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly)Aug 2025

Our pod at Hedley Wood Holiday Park was clean, in a nice location and dog-friendly. The bar and restaurant are busy at night, but the food was good, my partner is usually fussy with steak, but he really enjoyed it. The pool is busy with kids, which is understandable during summer break. I do wish there was a shortcut from Pod 14 to the toilets. Other than that, we had a great stay and would love to come back, maybe outside of school holidays next time.
