About the site
This peaceful coastal site is set right by the Atlantic Ocean, with uninterrupted views and the beach just a few steps away. Tucked along the scenic Kintyre 66 driving route, it's a great spot to relax and watch the sun set over the water. There are just nine hardstanding touring pitches, each with a 16 amp electric hook up, a water tap and a grass area for awnings. These pitches welcome caravans, campervans and motorhomes. For a glamping getaway, guests can stay in one of the cosy ensuite pods. Each pod includes a small kitchen, TV, sofa and small dining area, along with an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, hand basin and shower. Towels are available for hire as an optional extra. Outside, there's a small deck area where guests can sit back and take in the sea views. The park is ideal for walkers and cyclists, with easy access to the Kintyre Way, a long-distance route with amazing coastal and countryside scenery. The popular Kintyre 66 route also runs past the site, perfect for scenic drives and discovering hidden gems along the peninsula. For a day out, Campbeltown is just 20 minutes away, offering shops, pubs and places to eat, while the ferry terminal is five minutes away, making trips to the Isle of Gigha nice and easy! Dogs are very welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch or pod, so your four-legged companions can enjoy seaside walks too. BBQs are allowed, but must be raised off the ground and used on the hardstanding areas only. Open fires, fire pits and bonfires are not permitted. The park is also home to a selection of lodges/static caravans, with some that are privately owned and some for rent.
