Great campsite, good location
Large Tent - Upper Meadow Non Electric Pitches Aug 2022 This was our first trip to Wooda. Possibly the cleanest site I've stayed at.
The facilities on-site were spot on and although there was a nice, relaxed vibe, the kids were kept entertained by the park, pool table and table tennis. There's some really nice walk around the site too. The kids loved walking down to see the alpacas.
We went to the restaurant both nights we were there and on both occasions the food was top notch. The nachos with chilli were probably the best nachos I've ever had, the homemade guacamole and salsa were incredible, highly recommend giving those a go.
We drove to the beach, Summerleaze was only a 7 min drive away. Unless you get down there early, parking at the beach is a bit of a nightmare (as with most beaches when the sun's come out to play!), but I'd recommend parking in the town centre car park and just walking down to the beach. It's only a 10-12 min walk.
Will definitely be returning to Wooda again, fantastic campsite and awesome, friendly staff.

Very good site
Large Tent - Upper Meadow Non Electric Pitches Aug 2022 Very good site with lots of activities for the kids, including archery, pottery, segways, tennis and badminton, as well as a playground. There is also a great takeaway on site. The site and toilets and showers are spotless. There are great views of the coast.
The best site we have camped on and we're already booking for next year.

Excellent stay at Wooda. Would return!
VW-Type Campervan - Upper Meadow Non Electric Pitches Aug 2022 We had 3 nights in the upper meadow field, on a non electric pitch. The facilities are superb and there is so much to do and see on site. Bude is just 2 miles away, with superb beaches all around! The toilets and showers are plentiful and clean. Drinking water taps are found across the site. We would definitely stay again.
