Enjoying panoramic views of the Rutland Hills, Vineyard and Canvas is a peaceful, Freedom Camping Club site offering glamping with a contemporary twist. The five canvas bell tents onsite are a refreshing alternative to traditional camping and are all furnished to a high standard and nestled in a private setting. Members and non members welcome.
About the site
This welcoming site is nestled on seven acres of secluded Rutland countryside, the smallest county in the UK with brilliant food and stunning views. This site is ideally located for visiting Uppingham, Oakham and Stamford. These idyllic towns are full of conservation gems that represent the Colly Weston Stone Heritage. Once a vineyard and tree nursery, now a glamping retreat offering guests privacy in fully equipped bell tent canopies. Relax in a comfortable deluxe and bespoke canopy with luxury interior. Sleeping up to four people, each tent provides glampers with both privacy and comfort in the outdoors. All canopies include bed linen and towels, a luxury and locally crafted oak king size bed, and boast superb views over the fields from your very own private veranda. A fire pit is also provided along with a supply of wood to help get you started. The site are members of the Freedom Camping Club. Membership is free and the site welcomes both members and non members. There is excellent access to walking and cycling routes, as well as Rutland water with protected Osprey nesting grounds. Dogs are welcome.

Fully equipped canvas tents measuring 6m x 4m, with a comfy king size bed and two extra camp beds if needed, as well as a camping stove gas canister, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Outside you'll find tables, chairs, parasol and fire pit.

Reading Room Ensuite Shepherd's Hut

Shepherd's hut with a king size bed. Includes a kitchen, log burner, ensuite bathroom and sofa. Outdoor deck and roll top bath.

Woodcutter Ensuite Cabin
