Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2026 Very secure and well maintained site with lovely helpful staff. A gem in quiet location yet so close to York. Plus a great taxi company called Getaway cars that provided excellent service at a very good price. Husband already planning his next fishing trip

Little trip away
Glamping Cabin - Studio Pod Ensuite Cabins May 2026 We did love our stay and can’t wait to book again. However the shop did shut at 6 and there was a lack of pillows for the amount of people sleeping in the pod. This aside it was a great adventure and our little one loved it!!
Internet terrible
Twin Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Super Pitches May 2026 Dropped it by 1 star because the internet and phone reception is not very good. Different if you intend to have a working break.

Helpful and friendly host. Good security. 15 min walk to bus stop (but timetable needs updating for Saturdays).

Facilities are clean and very presentable.
We’ll definitely be staying again.

Roof Tent - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2026 Excellent site with plenty of things for children to do including a games room and outdoor playing area. Shower/Toilet block was modern and clean. The site itself is in a great location just off the A64 and a 10 minute drive from the centre of York.

Beautiful Site
Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Super Pitches Apr 2026 We had such a great experience here. The place is so clean and tidy with extremely friendly owners who both share the love of camping. Its a 10 min drive into York so great location, we will be returning! 100% recommend. :0) The Cahills.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2026 Absolutely beautiful site, staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were amazing. Lovely pub about a 10 minute walk from site. Bit of a trek to walk into York, Uber was around £10 - £12 each way, bus was £6 return ticket - so if theres 4 of you camping its about the same cost for a taxi. Play park for the children too.

Cute weekend stay
Glamping Cabin - Studio Pod Ensuite Cabins Mar 2026 We booked last minute and what a great little find this glamping pod was!! Everything we needed was provided (we did forget towels, but reception saved the day and provided some for us!).
Campsite was quiet in the night and we enjoyed sitting on the veranda watching the stars 🤩
Reception were so nice and helpful. Will definitely be back!!

Twin Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Super Pitches Mar 2026 Lovely quiet, well kept site. Had a great stay here as a base to travel around South Yorkshire with family.
Would definitely recommend and we will certainly consider here again, if we need a site in the area.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2026 Great site with good facilities and a nice playground for children.
The wardens were friendly and made us feel welcome.
The Nag's Head pub is within walking distance of the site and served lovely food. Also, a bus stop nearby with regular buses into York, was an added bonus. Will definitely use the campsite again😀

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2025 Excellent value, a great little site. Everything you need, excellent services and a short 10 minute walk to the bus stop to get you into the centre of town. With hourly buses.

Would have given 5* but for water pressure but all very clean and warm shower block, definitely go back, thank you.
Well equipped site and near York

Nice site, all appeared to be hard standing. Well maintained. Nice games room and little shop. Play park for children.
Facilities were fine and clean. I would recommend and I will return.

Facilities were very good and the amenities block was kept clean and the showers were wonderful.
My only reservation would be that, if the site was very busy, there would not be enough showers and toilets (3). If I go that way again that's where I would book.
