High Farm Holiday Park is a friendly, family-run campsite with Durham Dales views, just ten minutes from Bishop Auckland. Onsite, guests can meet a range of animals, including alpacas, wallabies and meerkats, with a cosy cafe for breakfast and lunch, plus a bar/restaurant on weekends in peak season. Choose from a range of electric tent and touring pitches, or a cosy ensuite railway wagon for a glamping getaway. Dogs are welcome too!

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesApr 2026

Storm Dave meant it was unsafe to pitch up tents. However, the owners went above and beyond, allowing us to upgrade to some fantastic railway carriages, enabling our family to have a safe enjoyable camping trip.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesApr 2026

Great site, good location. Spotless facilities. Nice on site bar/restaurant. Great breakfasts decent pitches good dog walking. Only thing I would do is ban electric bikes scooters on site - 2 kids were using these at high speeds, probably 20/30 mph all weekend on roads, paths and play areas. Parents weren't interested as they weren't even wearing helmets, dangerous to other kids and the disabled and deaf people on site.

A winter stop-over. Temperatures between 0 and minus 3 degrees C, so the site was fairly empty. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was superior. Everything went well and worked smoothly.
