Lovely site. Big level pitches with picnic tables. All amenities available (even a dishwasher). All washing up areas, toilet and shower areas are really clean and warm. Quiet site with good access to Hay-on-Wye town across the fields.

Lovely clean site

A lovely, small site in a good location. The facilities were very good, underfloor heating in the shower was a pleasant surprise and a bathroom with full access for those with disabilities a lovely addition. Some pitches require longer electricity cables, I was fortunate as I was loaned a longer cable by site staff. This seemed to be standard. The only issue was related to access to the footpath. The path passes through someone else's land and they have installed a style. As I have a 26kg dog I could not use it. We used the road. Traffic is frequent and fast but there is a side road just a few hundred meters away and grass verges for most of the way so we were safe. The quiet side road takes you directly into Hay on Wye either on pavements or via a lovely walk along the Wye with only gates to open and close.

We had a fantastic stay at this caravan park. The views were absolutely beautiful and made the whole experience even more special. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless and clearly very well maintained, which we really appreciated. The washing-up/ recycling station was also excellent and very practical to use. The location is perfect, it's in a great spot for travelling to other nearby areas. Everything felt convenient and easy to access. It is a small caravan park but that is exactly what we wanted. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-located and scenic place to stay. Also, the staff were amazing, so welcoming and friendly ☺️
