Camping Pod - Unfurnished Camping Pods (Dog Friendly)Apr 2026

I booked a pod as we were only away for a few nights and it's a handy way of staying dry and snug. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The pool is lovely and warm and 1 hour slots mean it doesn't get too crowded (booking advance is advised and take a pound for the locker!). Everything was clean and in lovely condition. Very family friendly and a great base to explore. We went to the beach and Bamburgh Castle. Lovely break, would recommend x

Potential to be great!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesApr 2026

This is a lovely caravan park, with great parks and lovely walks. Although the bar/entertainment/pool is a short walk from site this didn't put us off and all facilities there were to a high standard. Where we were let down was the touring toilet/shower facilities, very poor and they didn't live up to the standard of the rest of the site. Also we paid for hard-standing however nearly all gravel was covered in grass, so it was a stretch calling it hard standing. These are things I think need improving in order to reflect the price and to meet the high standards of other parts of the site.

Great place with great amenities close.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesApr 2026

Very simple process from start to finish, clean tidy and safe site. The Canny Owl pub and Budgens shop is a brilliant close by addition. Very peaceful.

Location is fantastic, pitches are far too close together

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesMar 2026

Location very good, site pitches too close together and the road for touring pitches is only wide enough for a small car 🚗 Very difficult, we saw, for large caravans to manoeuvre onto their pitch. Toilet and shower block not very nice. Dog walking is good .

Lovely site, handy for town

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesMar 2026

Lovely site. Easy to find. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, very well maintained, and good facilities. A 5 minute walk to a small supermarket and 15 min walk into town for pubs and cafes. Mainly given over to static vans and seasonal pitches, which does mean it's open out of usual season.
