Why choose Waggoners Campsite

Back-to-basics camping on a rural estate with large pitches

Set in the Surrey Hills, surrounded by woodland with direct access to the North Downs Way

Eco-conscious off-grid site with compost loos and woodland showers

About the site

Beautifully nestled within the Surrey Hills National Landscape, this family-friendly campsite is located half a mile from the little village of Seale and a ten minute drive from Guildford. It's an eco-conscious site set on a family-run rural estate and working beef farm which also grow hops for beer and plants lots of trees. The site is off-grid with compost toilets and 'refreshing' woodland showers. There are 50 spacious grass pitches spread out over a slightly sloping hill with lovely countryside views. Each one allows up to six people and accepts tents, roof tents and small campervans. (There is no electric hook up or waste facilities for vans). Firepits, complete with a generous supply of the estate's own logs and a bag of marshmallows, are available to hire. The owners have designed the campsite to be very environmentally friendly, with the structures being constructed by the forestry team, using Hampton Estate's own wood. Relax at this spacious back-to-basics site or explore the North Downs Way, perfect for dog walkers. Dogs (on lead) are welcome - a maximum of four dogs are allowed per pitch for an additional cost.

The site is open for weekends between April and end of September. Pitches from £36/night for 2 people.
