Rest up at Beltonville Farm, an idyllic tent and campervan camping destination with sweeping views over Miller's Dale and just a mile to the Monsal Trail. Fire pits available to hire for cosy campfires and a farm shop onsite. Ideally placed for Peak District treks, bike rides, horse riding and more within the White Peak.

We have stayed at Beltonville Farm with our pooch before and this time was even better than the last! Area is just beautiful and, although very much full this time round as we arrived on a Saturday, there was still plenty of room between campers! Facilities spotless, staff very lovely and the view is gorgeous! To top it all off, there is a good size farm shop, bars that serve soft and alcoholic beverages and, this time round, hot food served until late evening! We had fish and chips one eve and a roast dinner the next day which we enjoyed in our van! We really love it here and advise anyone who's looking to look no further! There is everything you'll need to have an enjoyable stay. There was also live music in the barn on Saturday! Only thing we will say is a fair few people didn't adhere to the rule of keeping their dogs on the lead. That is in no way the farm's fault but silly people! Xx

Friendly, hardworking staff, great food, big portions. Yummy ice cream, especially loved the lemon drizzle flavour. Showers and toilets always really clean. Beautiful views down the valley and close to some great walks along the river Wye. Lots of pubs to choose from nearby, and the bonus of an Elvis tribute on Saturday night! Will return.

A great campsite! We stayed to do Mam Tor 14k hike and it was a perfect location. 20 mins from Mam Tor and Castleton. The campsite actually has an amazing view. The showers are really hot and powerful and both the showers and the toilets are so clean. Real toilets also not portaloos. Did not have to queue for bathrooms. About a 10 min queue for showers. Campsite has a nice vegan breakfast with oat milk and very reasonably priced. Very friendly and easy going. Mix of families and young people and lots of nice fires. Not noisy at night at all. Lots of fresh water refill stations. Overall a great campsite, would really recommend.

Great site with glorious views down the Dale. Perfect for cycling the Monsal Trail and walking distance to the river and pub. The facilities are top notch with an onsite shop, bar, café and even a chocolate shop! The showers are without doubt the best showers I've ever used on a site! Would definitely recommend to families and friends.

Great location for exploring Milkers Dale and Monsal Trail area of the Peak District. Clean site with nice cafe and farm shop. I noticed that toilet and shower block were cleaned early morning and afternoon. Plenty of space for pitching tents in large field.

Stayed here on our first try-out of our recently converted campervan. Beautiful views but quite busy as there was a beer festival taking place. Staff were friendly and helpful but it was quite hilly on the site, if that's a concern for you. We felt that the washing up facilities were very poor, hot water only came out a very small trickle. Toilets were ok. There was the usual extortionate grocery shop, that was not particularly well stocked, and there are no children's facilities. Although we enjoyed the trip, we probably would not choose to stay here again.

Very convenient for a number of hiking routes. Good small on-site shop and restaurant, I didn't try either but it seemed well used. Neat little campsite close to good hiking routes. Bit noisy, but that was my fault as I didn't realise they had a beer festival on. Good farm shop and restaurant.

Overall a really good site and a great experience. Used as a base to walk and explore the area (we ended up on a 17 mile trek on the Saturday, weather was lovely, scenery is fantastic). Was going to book a Medium sized pitch for the three of us for the bank holiday - but no availability shown. I changed to a Large pitch for £30 extra and there was availability. It's just a huge field with no pitches marked out so felt a bit conned having to pay the extra - as well as £15 for a second car upon arrival (I don't remember seeing anything about this when booking, but may be my oversight). We arrived 1pm on Friday so got a good spot early - the entire site was packed by Saturday (there was also a beer festival on). Additional port-a-loo's were placed in the upper field due to numbers, but didn't queue for toilets or showers at all. First site we've stayed at with a full café \ shop (and bar for events); "The Cow Shed". A great bonus! Prices rather high, as expected, but good quality. Service took some time as well but they were exceptionally busy so no complaints. Some minor improvements could make it even better. The mushrooms on the breakfast were large and quite firm - well cooked button mushrooms would be far nicer (same with tomatoes - cooked cherry's would be spot on). The poached eggs and streaky bacon on toasted muffin could have done with 3\4 rashers instead of the 2 and bigger eggs (or 3 small ones) as the muffin is so large! (Yes, you could use a smaller muffin but for £6.50, I don't think a tad more of the main ingredients would be too much to ask). The simplest improvement would be a few more pence worth of hot water, I don't drink hot drinks but my mates were not impressed with a coffee and tea that were well short of being a "full cup". I'd normally have orange juice for breakfast but passed as you use cartons "from concentrate" :-( A proper machine where you feed oranges into the top would be awesome! Second best would be to sell small bottles of Tropicana - I was wishing I'd bought my own with me. We love "back to basics" no-frills camping, which this site predominantly is - but the Cow Shed really elevates it to something a bit special. We would definitely return.

Great site, everyone so friendly with easy check in. The farm shop and bar etc were excellent. The entertainment was very good Saturday and Sunday night. My only suggestion would be to sort the washing up water, it was a dribble and scalding hot, the ladies toilets/wash rooms could do with some simple hooks for hanging your toilet bags and clothes for changing. The local pub is also excellent and has a sense of humour (see the duck light in window) classy!

What an absolutely fabulous place, I don't know where to begin. Dave the farmer/owner is nonstop, making sure everything is ticking over. The views, peacefulness, walks, the barn, the staff, everything - our slogan for this place is "What a difference a Dave makes" 😃

Lovely owners and staff, cafe and bar lovely food. Didn't park our new van on field because it was muddy due to all the rain recently, so stayed in car park. Had a walk up to campsite field and views were amazing with a nice scenic countryside walk to Tildeswell village. Staff are very friendly and helpful, entertainment on Saturdays in separate room with another bar which was good.
