Great holiday

Great despite the mud
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches (Top Field) Mar 2024 We booked this site at the last minute having had our booking at a nearby site cancelled as it was under water from recent heavy rain.
The grass pitch was waterlogged and our motorhome instantly got stuck in the mud. The site staff were incredibly helpful and our hero Michael pulled us out with his tractor, moved us to another pitch and pushed us on!
The site is right on the beach, a short walk from Burton Bradstock and within walking distance of West Bay.
We didn't use the swimming pools or restaurant, but these facilities would be ideal for those with children. The well-stocked shop was appreciated as was the bar overlooking the beach. Toilets and showers were kept spotless despite the mud.
We actually extended our stay for another 2 nights moving to a hard standing pitch - again pulled out of the mud by Michael!
Although expensive compared to other sites, it would be good value if we had utilised all the available leisure facilities. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches (Main Field) Mar 2024 You couldn't ask for a better location. There's lots of facilities on site but they are very family oriented.
