Amazing

We have had such an amazing week here camping at Tros y Waen. We don't want to leave ☹️ the site has exceeded all our expectations and it is truly the most peaceful place. The owners are so kind and friendly. We contacted in advance about bringing a gazebo and they said this was no problem - they have been extremely accommodating with any query. The grounds are maintained to a extremely high standard, the facilities are very clean and well thought out and the pitches are all well spaced. You have thought of it all and we would certainly love to come back! Thank you so much 😊 We will miss our peaceful camp surrounded by the mountains.

Really enjoyed staying at this campsite, the owner was very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were very clean with not too far to walk from where we'd pitched. The site itself was close to all the areas we wanted to visit with it also being only a short drive to Anglesey. Excellent

Really lovely campsite

Really lovely site, nice and spacious, and well maintained. Facilities were really clean. It's a great location, nice and quiet with plenty of space for the kids to play whilst being close to the beach, Snowdon and other things to do. The guys that run the site are really friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend!

Great site

Lovely site. The whole place, both on approach and when driving though, felt clean, modern and really well maintained. There was an attentive and friendly host who checked us in with clear instructions and sorted us a fire pit. We stayed in the tent field and even though all pitches were taken, it didn't feel crowded and still had loads of room for ball games. The showers/bathrooms were clean and new.

Great campsite in Snowdonia

Excellent site with a personal greeting, and being taken to the pitch. Toilets and shower block clean. Pitched by a stream, behind which was a kids playground.

Brilliant campsite

We recently visited for 3 nights and the campsite was wonderful. The owners are lovely and keep the site well maintained. Such a peaceful campsite with beautiful views of Wales. Will definitely be back!

Very well kept site

Everything was great. Easy to book and good communication afterwards. Friendly greeting on arrival. Pitches marked out well, with enough space between them. Shower, toilet and utility facilities were clean and well kept. The whole site looked neat and tidy. Lovely little stream at the back of it with a hidden wooden play area. Would definitely book again.

A great family friendly site

An amazing site, very clean and family friendly. It's a quiet site and is well maintained with all necessary facilities. Everything is always clean and tidy. The views from our tent were outstanding, I was able to watch the sunrise over the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is perfect, with so many things to do in the surrounding area that we didn't get to do everything we wanted. We will definitely be using this site again.

Great campsite!

We had a really lovely time here. There was plenty of space for both our tents and everyone was very friendly. We could hire a fire pit for the evening for £10 with some wood, which was great fun all round. We would highly recommend this campsite.

Cleaner than my house!

The facilities are very clean and spotless, the owners are really friendly and helpful. Plus, you can even purchase free range eggs from their farm but make sure you do it early in the morning, because they are gone very quickly!

Little gem

Lovely little site, extremely clean toilet and shower block, along with nice indoor washing up facilities. Easy check in, friendly staff and a lovely walk on site with a play area and duck pond. Ideal location for climbing Snowdon - 15 minutes or so from the park and ride. Perfect for what we needed and incredibly impressed with cleanliness of toilets and showers (which were lovely and hot too).

Fabulous

Super campsite, great location (roughly midway between Bangor and Lamberts), so very good base for exploring the local area. The campsite was super clean, great washrooms, showers and utility room. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if in North Wales 👍

Wonderful peaceful location, friendly and helpful owners. Clean and tidy. Parks for young and old children. Ideal location for mountain hiking.

Nice site well maintained

Positives- Clean facilities. Hot showers. Big field. Stream for kids to enjoy. Negatives- Muddy damp dark play areas. One sink to wash up. Two would be good. Struggled to get pegs in ground - very stony. Our pitch wasn't very flat.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this park! It's location for everything in North West Wales is exceptional. The staff on our arrival were super helpful and friendly and, although we didn't need anything during our stay, I knew where I could find them should I need anything. The facilities are small but I never once had to wait for a toilet or shower and the washing up facilities were clean. Unfortunately, we weren't able to book an electric pitch but for a non electric pitch it was everything we would have hoped for. The wind on our first few nights was wild but by moving out car strategically, we coped. Would 100% go back when I'm in the area. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic campsite

What a fantastic campsite! Really great clean facilities. Nice and quiet. A really organised campsite, with everything you need and a great location! I think it was a couple that runs the campsite (I never asked) and they were really friendly! I'm going back in August.

A great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in a tent with electric hook up. We had a good welcome, with a clear explanation of the site and its facilities. The facilities were everything you would need and were always clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. The pitch had fabulous views. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this site to others.

Excellent friendly campsite, good location for North Wales

We had a great stay at this campsite for 3 nights. The site is well kept with good layout. Toilet and shower block was never too busy and there was plenty of room around the pitches.

Lovely clean site

Lovely views, nice clean place. Hired a fire pit for an additional £10. Nothing nearby within walking distance. Good base for exploring North Wales. Clean toilets. Could have had a little shop on site, would have been good, selling milk etc.

I couldn't agree more with you about having a shop on site, it would be handy, however being a husband and wife team we just haven't got enough hours in the day. There is a garage less than a mile up the road that is usually very well stocked with all the essentials. I am glad you took advantage of the fire pit hire and the purchase of seasoned logs, It certainly completes the camping experience. Thanks again, Paul & Mandy
