Lovely campsite

This is a lovely campsite despite a mix up with our booking where I booked the wellness spa for me and my 6 yr old son not realizing it was for over 16’s only. The location is beautiful with lovely views and a Forrest next door. The farm with the animals was a lovely touch and they had a load back friendly approach. I loved it despite the weather.

Smashing place

Lovely location, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and great pizzas. It's a lovely place to be with all the animals. Great for kids too. We will definitely be back.

Great location great spots for camping and clear pitches. Toilets were basic but okay overall, a hook on the back of the door would have improved the experience.

Making memories at Brook Farm

The toilet block really needs to be updated, it needs a lot of love and attention. The bays where you camp could be a little wider and if I was to pass on any recommendations to any of my friends, it would be to stay away from the 'river', or stinky burn, as we would called it when I was growing up. Now, let's talk pizza. I've had the opportunity to enjoy really nice pizza at Breakwater Brewery and from Giovanni at Old Kent Market, Margate, so I know I've been spoiled, but I think the pizza could be a bit better. The pizza was small and the base extremely thin, which left me a little hungry to say the least. It may be because the pizza ovens can't cope with a thicker base but I would definitely upgrade it because it could be amaze-balls. Arbie's Café need to expand, they're clearly very good, their produce much sought after and are in high demand. James was a lovely host, he was on hand and 'available'. Well done (without and condescendence at all), he has done well! I think the weekend was an absolute cracker and I will be back, I just hope they are able to make improvements. It was an absolute bargain at £42 for 2 adults, 2 children a van and a 6 man tent and a wee pop up tent (for storage) for 2 nights - not to be sneezed at. It's closer to £90 around here. The last thing I wanted to say was, camping is priceless, my grandchildren made friends and the most precious memories, they made 'best friends forever', they had water fights, kicked a ball, looked after a fire pit, petted the chicken, and the goats and snored all night after exhausting days and late nights. No video games or internet, no TV and definitely no 'I'm bored'. Lia found Isabella, her BFF and will no doubt be asking to go back before my back, hips or legs can happily feel able to recover. I'm shattered, I've already had a 2 hour nap, and my body is feeling very relaxed (1.5 Leffe in) so I'll be thinking about our next trip soon! Well done Brook Farm we loved it!! The owners are super helpful and friendly! Always someone about to ask any random question too! The whole place is such a vibe!

Friendly campsite

A lovely, friendly campsite, well laid out & good views. The animals were cute to see & there was homemade pizzas on Friday night. The wellness area seemed popular too. The facilities are a bit dated which let it down. However, as a family campsite, there was plenty of room for children to play & close for walks in the nature reserve.

Great place and convenient. Spend a night with grill and campfire. Quiet and lovely. Calm and quiet woods for a nice evening walk.

Poor site - needs investment

Great site with good pitches. Outdated, substandard facilities. Heavily overpriced. Half facilities unavailable. No information on area. No walks in woods available. Booked 2 nights. Stayed 1. Got refund after a conversation with site 'staff'. No staff on duty all day.

Site's response

After being offered a complete refund as nothing I suggested was good enough, he actually wanted to stay for one night and I was more than happy to refund the second night! Please note, it's our busy season as a working farm, so after kindly texting and calling to confirm which pitch he could go in, I didn't think there would be any problems - I was wrong! I would have recommended some lovely walks that are available next to our campsite! All facilities are indeed working and we're still the cheapest campsite in the area! Many thanks for staying with us 😊

Perfect weekend site

We really enjoyed our stay at Brook farm. Kids loved the goats and sheep. We had a session in the wellness section which was lovely and very flexible, letting us split a session because of kids. We will return. Thank you.

Lot of improvements since last time we stayed

James and Robyn are really lovely owners. Very friendly. Sites very clean and nice spacious plots. Would highly recommend if you have small children as they have animals there.

Great site with delicious pizza

This is a great site and really friendly owners. Lovely farm animals for children to look at and run around with a lovely walk in Blean woods. Pizzas are great and you can also get a fire pit + wood.

Perfect campsite

We stayed for one night and loved it. The campsite is perfect with good and clean facilities, a lovely cafe, pizza, and great staff who work really hard to make it amazing. Will definitely be returning!

Excellent place, highly recommend

Loved this campsite so much. Has everything you can want and perfect for little children with the animals. The pizza in the evening on a fire pit and cafe in the morning was the icing on the cake.

Amazing location

James and his girlfriend are fantastic. It's such amazing location, easily accessible to Whitstable and the wellness centre is fab. The coffee shop and pizzas are also a must as well as a stroke with spotty their friendly hand reared sheep. There's also a secure dog field nearby which you can pay for which makes things easier if you have a dog you can't let off the lead. We'll definitely be back and fantastically priced. Thanks again Chris and Hannah and doggos! 🐶

Site itself was lovely, the people not so much

Kids loved the animals and getting to feed them. Washing/toilet facilities were clean and good function. Only issue we had, and I understand isn't the fault of the venue, is their 10pm quiet time isn't enforced. My kids struggled to get to sleep because of the noise. Overall, they loved their first ever time camping.

Fantastic site

Fantastic site - so peaceful and the hosts are just so friendly-nothing is too much trouble. If you go definitely try the freshly cooked pizza on Fridays/Saturdays- best pizza I've ever had! Will definitely be staying here again - on site showers and toilets and they even have very cute little farm animals who sometimes escape. Beautiful place to spend some time
