Stay on a farm in the heart of the Garden of England, Solley's Ice Cream Campsite is only ten minutes from the seaside resort of Deal. Tents and tourers are welcome across grass pitches, with the option of electric. Treat yourself to some homemade ice cream at the onsite ice cream parlour, a refreshing pint at the pub, or use the farm as your base to explore much of the Kent coastline with Whitstable and Margate within a 35 minute drive!

What a wonderful campsite. We stayed for 1 night with our 2 young children and Labrador in a tent. The facilities and campsite are brilliant. We loved the new pub and the kids enjoyed the tractor ride. Highly recommend trying out their ice cream - our favourite was salted caramel. We had the pleasure of experiencing the young lad who had recently travelled around the world in his plane, take off on-site. Although we were unlucky with high winds it made our experience more adventurous. The site is well-kept and very clean. The staff there are ever so helpful and friendly. We can't wait to return. Thank you all at Solley's for making our children's first experience memorable, we will definitely be returning and highly recommend to anyone to stay there and visit.

Such an amazing site, in a beautiful environment. The site is well kept and caters for all! The space between tents/campers allowed privacy and the ice cream parlour and bar were an absolute bonus! The surreal moment was the small red plane flying low over the site and landing in the rewilded landing strip. I loved the fact that we were in the middle of the countryside and then 15 mins later on the beach for a swim.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches (Main Field)May 2023

Campsite was lovely, especially for kids, with the tractor ride and ice cream parlour. The toilets were a little smelly, but otherwise facilities were good.
