Brilliant site, very accommodating
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023 The campsite is in a very secluded area, although quite easy to find. The hosts greeted us on arrival and gave us a choice of pitches. The facilities are what you would expect for a campsite and include showers, water, sinks etc. The views of the surroundings were brilliant. It was also extremely quiet and peaceful.
The only issue is the midges, which seem to all come out at night time. However, this is expected due to the location. There was also a lake with a canoe which is free to use, and my partner and I had a lot of fun with that. All in all, we had a great time staying here, would definitely recommend and hopefully return.
Beautiful Hideaway in the Hills
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 What a beautiful campsite ❤️ This is the first time we have been, and what a little gem. It's tucked away in the hills so it's quiet - no road sounds, the site and facilities are nice and clean. Lots of rope swings for the kids, and the little lake is wonderful. Lots of nice places to walk, and only a short car journey to the beach.
All in all, a great place to stay.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 Beautiful location. Secluded camp field surrounded by ancient woodland and rolling hills. Lots of space. Each pitch has a large clean picnic table and a fire pit. Very welcoming host. Plenty to explore and do. I was on my own but it would be a fun, safe place for children.
