Clear filters Lovely site Bell Tent - Lotus Belle Tents (Dog Friendly) Jul 2025 Really lovely, clean site. The bell tent was spacious and clean. The facilities were great, again clean and well maintained
The only issue we had was that the site was super noisy. There were a couple of really loud groups who had no regard for anyone else staying, playing music and chatting loudly until the early hours of the morning.

Bell Tent - Lotus Belle Tents (Dog Friendly) Jul 2025 A great spot and find. Brilliant and clean belle tents in a great location. Ours was placed by a pond which had a lovely aspect. The facilities were good. Unfortunately you can’t book the weather too and it rained for our stay. Would reccomend but would warn anyone booking that unfortunately you can’t seem to get your neighbours. We were kept up all night due to noisy neighbours arguing and swearing at each other. Not ideal so we left early.
A stress free 2 nights away bliss
Glamping Pod - Standard Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly) Jul 2025 Had a lovely 2 night stay in the glamping pod with hot tub wanted somewhere to just chill and relax and we certainly did that the people there were so helpful and accommodating lovely and clean site other people who booked on the site were very friendly to definitely going to book again for next month thank you hill farm for a enjoyable getaway

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 The staff worked really hard to keep the toilet block clean. The site was quite busy and the weather was awful, but the facilities were kept clean.
The snack wagon is amazing!

Lovely site close to Trent canal
Motorhome - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 We travelled down from North Devon and chose this lovely site after reading the excellent reviews.
We were not disappointed, the facilities were spotless and the staff very friendly and informative. Dogs are welcome as long as kept on a lead and obviously cleaned up after. Hill Farm is situated near the Trent Canal, which was a brilliant cycle ride for us with plenty of cafes and pubs en route to stop for lunch.
We will definitely be back. Thank you Hill Farm.

Glamping Pod - Standard Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly) Jun 2025 Lovely 1 night stay in a great location.
Our glamping pods were great and had a fan which was needed for the heat! Hot tub was already on for our arrival.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only thing to add is that the breakfast van isn't open midweek outside of school holidays, so don't be relying on that if you're staying during the week!

Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2025 The lady on site, who I assume manages the place, couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming.
She gave me the feel of the place being an honest caring family run site where campers are treated as friends, not just customers, as is the case with a lot of sites. Well done to all staff.

Bell Tent - Lotus Belle Tents (Dog Friendly) Jun 2025 A nice site which was spacious and with good facilities. Slightly pricey but good range of options. The staff were very pleasant.
Lovely but loud Small Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2025 Nice site with real welcoming helpful staff. Just a plain field with a small shower block (2 for men 2 for women).
The biggest downside by far is it's so close to the motorway that you can hear cars constantly and it is on the flight path to East Midlands airport with very low flying aircraft until early hours of the morning. Could do with a park or something for the kids.

Site has a mix of grass, electric, and glamping pods / tents (some of which have hot tubs). There is a shower block with both inside units and some external wooden toilets and showers. It was very busy when we visited but still was quiet by about 10 o'clock. There is a food van, which was decent although we only had the chips.

Bell Tent - Plus Lotus Belle Tents with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly) May 2025 This was the perfect get away. Prices reflect the area and are extremely fair. Feels like a world away from anywhere, but you're actually very close. Very well kept site too!
Nice location VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 Site is in a nice location, can be very noisy at night given it's on a flight path and sandwiched between a railway line and a major A road.
Shower and toilet block are nice, however many of the guests didn't clean up after themselves and the power to the block went mid shower.
We only stayed one night out of our two, we woke up with someone's dog in our awning, then when we actually got up, it had pooed and wee'd everywhere, so would suggest a rule of dogs need to be on a lead.
So we had a nice break spoilt by guests rather than the owners.
Down the road escape

I loved that it was 25 mins away, but an escape for a couple of days with friends. Got the teenagers off their phones ... mostly!
Walked to the pub down the canal and visited Staunton Harold. Fab couple of days.

Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 We loved everything about our stay, the location was lovely. One day we took a long walk down the river and stopped in some pubs along the way, which was so lovely and exactly what we wanted.
The food van on site was so good. We never made it back for food in the evening, but we had a breakfast from there most mornings and it was delicious and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this campsite.
Beautiful glamping pod
Glamping Pod - Plus Glamping Pods with Hot Tubs (Dog Friendly) May 2025 Beautiful glamping pod with seating and hot tub under cover and then additional seating and bbq area.
We stayed in this beautiful pod and very much enjoyed our stay. The heating and kitchen facilities in the pod were great! Lots of space to relax.
It's great that's there is somewhere to purchase cooked meals from on site between certain times we just didn't use it ourselves. Friendly helpful staff.

Bad stay Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 The 1st night was nice and peaceful, then the caravan owner next door arrived and parked across the front of our tent, blocking our view.
The caravan owner played his radio very loudly through the night, causing us to have no sleep.

Superb site
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 We arrived at Hill Farm and received a warm welcome, together with details of the facilities on site.
The site was clean and well laid out. We had a hardstanding, fully serviced pitch, everything worked well. We checked the showers and toilets on site, which were kept very clean.
There is a food van operating in the morning and evening, the prices are very good and the food very nice. There was also a visit twice a day from an ice cream van, which was well liked.
A lovely walk along the canal a short stroll away is a must on a nice evening.
We would definitely stay again.
