Single Axle Caravan - Electric Gravel PitchesSep 2023

We stayed here in our motorhome. Lovely site with fantastic views. There was everything there you could need. The shop was very well stocked with fresh, hot pastries every morning (sadly, didn't find this out until the last day ☹️) Martin's Bar was great for drinks and food. Sunday carvery well worth it but you definitely need to book for this. There is also a curry night on Tuesdays which you can't book for, just turn up. Unfortunately, we experienced very bad weather, with winds of 50mph+. The site were brilliant and there were warning notices up at reception and we also kept receiving information and up to date weather reports from them. They really couldn't have done any more to help get us through the unfortunate occurrence.

Site's response

We are so proud that you found us to be proactive with our weather advice. Thank you from all of the team for the amazing review.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Gravel PitchesSep 2023

Fab site, very clean and pitches nice and large. Only downside was Martin's Bar, which was only open until 9.30pm on Sunday and 10pm during the week. Although one night they closed at 9.30pm due to lack of customers - they could do with a little bit of entertainment, maybe a quiz or karaoke always draws people in!

Site's response

Thank you for the review and your feedback will be shared with the bar and restaurant team so that we can make improvements to our service.
