Clear filters Amazing pop up site
VW-Type Campervan - Friends and Family Electric Grass Touring Pitches (August - September) Aug 2023 Staff were amazing from arrival. We use Holkham a lot for days out being local but was nice to have a friends and family pitch to spend the weekend with friends. The kids loved it and the facilities were kept to a high standard.

VW-Type Campervan - Standard Electric Grass Touring Pitches (August - September) Aug 2023 Fab place to stay, facilities where clean. Lots to do & see in the area.
Facilities were good. A bit disappointing that we had to pay £5 on site for the food festival, so didn't go. Couldn't walk as my husband has knee issues, so didn't get chance to check it out as wasn't prepared to pay £5 when we'd already payed for camping on site.
Other than that, great spacious location for kids, with lots to do.

Single Axle Caravan - Standard Electric Grass Touring Pitches (August - September) Aug 2023 We stayed for 2 nights, fairly local to us but a beautiful setting.
Very well organised, facilities were clean and emptied regularly. Pitches are well marked and loads of room for awnings etc.
Volunteer Marshalls are very friendly and giving of their time.
Loads of activities organised (extra cost) but also food festival to dip into on hall grounds and of course the beach nearby. The deer babies were awesome to listen to in the evening. Some lovely walks with coast hopper bus available too.
Booked again for later in the month.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Standard Electric Grass Touring Pitches (August - September) Aug 2023 Lovely, one night stay in unique location. Great, friendly staff on arrival. Toilets and showers clean and no queues. Didn't make the most of the location as didn't arrive till late afternoon. Lovely walks close by.
Fantastic campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (August - September) Aug 2023 A superb campsite in the most wonderful location. The plot was nice and big with plenty of space around us. Loads of space for kids to just run and play. The games were great entertainment for all the family. It would have been great if the lights at night weren't so bright across the campsite. The facilities were clean and tidy. The only criticism would be that the bins were full and overflowing and desperately needed emptying. I am assuming this was to do with the bank holiday weekend and no service to empty them. We loved it and will definitely be back next year!
Stay cut short Sprinter-Type Campervan - Standard Electric Grass Touring Pitches (August - September) Aug 2023 I booked for 3 nights but gave up and went home after 2 because the noise from the generator disturbed my sleep, even with wearing earplugs.
There didn't appear to be any washing up facilities and the water pressure in the showers was not great. Pleasant 25 minute walk into Wells.

Fabulous time
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 We stayed for 2 nights with our dog and had a lovely time, got shown to a lovely large pitch for our tent facing out onto fields.
The toilets were kept very clean and tidy, the showers were little dirty but it was at a busy time I used them so maybe why. Otherwise such a great campsite and would be coming back in the future for sure! Staff lovely and friendly too.

Great site
VW-Type Campervan - Standard Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2023 Nicely situated and very well organised pop up. It was lovely to be in the park after all the visitors had left. It was only about 1/2 full when we stayed and the toilets and showers were just about coping. Would have been nice to have mirrors above the sinks for shaving etc and hot water at the washing up sink.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 We had a wonderful few days in this stunning location, and found the site, the staff and the facilities brilliant.
Our map app brought us the wrong way in - use A149 entrance. Really near Wells for cafes and food shopping. You can access Holkham Hall cafe and gift shop too - walking maps are available.
The kids loved the games provided.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Standard Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2023 We had such a lovely time in this campsite. There are loads of activities for children and adults, we didn’t stay enough to enjoy everything but we will definitely come back.
Noisy generator Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 Really lovely and helpful staff, and a beautiful location. Sadly, there was a noisy generator that ran all night, so not perfect in a tent. Also, a bright flood light across whole campsite.
We were also unlucky with campers near us being very loud until 2am. I hate leaving a bad review because otherwise, it's a lovely spot and again the staff were amazing.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Standard Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2023 The most beautiful place to camp, a lovely food festival on whilst we were there too.
Facilities were clean and had everything you needed, like showers, toilets, water and a washing up area. Our only small gripe was that we paid for hook-up and were given a pitch that was too far away from the hook-up to connect to our campervan, so paid for electric but couldn't quite reach it!

VW-Type Campervan - Standard Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2023 This was a fantastic find! The electric hook up pitches were reasonably priced, however when we arrived and realised how great the location was and all the facilities on site, it was a bargain!
There is a small pop up bar serving each evening, on the grounds is a big play area, go ape, lots of street food stalls, lovely walks and trails, reduced cost access to Holkham Hall and access to a gift shop and tea room. There is bike hire on site and the pitches were of good size. Shower and toilets are fine and spacious too. Various events are run, we joined a tractor ride of the grounds with a guided tour, which was free!
You can walk to both the beach and into Wells village within about half an hour or so. Everyone working on the campsite was very friendly and helpful. One of my favourite campsites so far!

Motorhome - Standard Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2023 What a place!
The grounds are beautiful and there was a food festival during our stay which was great.
We were welcomed by the most lovely lady, Sharon, who was so smiley, chatty and helpful. I believe she is also responsible for the absolutely spotless toilets and showers! They were genuinely cleaner and more appealing than some hotels we've stayed in!
We walked to the beach at Wells one day which was lovely. A pretty long walk but it was nice through the village and along the coast.
We would definitely stay here again.

VW-Type Campervan - Standard Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2023 Excellent location to chill, walk, cycle etc. Really nice and helpful staff. The reliability and availability of showers/toilets could have been better for the price. It was the first week so maybe it's teething problems, so I'm sure they'll get on top of it as reviews overall were good last year.
