Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass Pitch Jul 2025 Absolutely amazing place, great location, all amenities necessary available, toilets/showers new and clean great maintained! fresh coffee, bar and food trucks. peacefully quiet... strongly recommend, we will be back !

VW-Type Campervan - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Really lovely site. Friendly welcome. Great facilities. Spotless. Perfect location for us. Great walking and easy walk into Hope and Castleton. Bus stop right outside site with regular buses to popular towns and tourist locations.
Thank you to the staff who clean up cheerfully and fastidiously after all the campers!

Small Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Lovely site and staff, bar, shop & food van onsite. Everyone was so friendly even other guests. Park was kept clean and well maintained.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay here for a couple weekend getaway, we will definitely be returning.

This is a fabulous campsite, clean, tidy, great facilities and staff are more than 5 star!
I would definitely stay here again. Five minute walk into Hope, and a short bus ride to Castleton. Excellent.

Central location for walks. Site was clean and quiet with lovely views. Will definitely be visiting again!!
Lovely, secluded campsite surrounded by the countryside
Medium Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches (Adult Only) Jul 2025 We were greeted on entry and the campsite and rules were explained to us before being shown to our pitch.
I felt the part of the site we were on was nicely spaced out and we didn't feel cramped. Electric socket right at our pitch. Toilet block a short walk away which was always clean. A good amount of sinks in an outside wash station and even a doggy wash station. It was lovely and quiet and had no issues with any unwanted noise.
We were barely on site so didn't get to use the additional facilities such as the shop, the bike hire and ping pong tables. Minor minor quibble would be road noise from around 5am. But if it wasn't near that road, it wouldn't be as convenient.

Nice but no privacy VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Nice site in a nice setting, we arrived late so had to find the pitch ourselves which is fine but the map is not accurate, whole sections of the site not shown so it's confusing.
Our pitch was a decent size but very uneven and a digger parked on the side. Felt like we were overlooking the riverside tents and we were overlooked by the caravans. We had people wandering onto our pitch to look over the fence to the riverside pitches and just generally felt like we had no privacy.
Good facilities and great selection of visiting food trucks.
Lovely campsite
Jun 2025 Very nice quiet well kept campsite, showers are spotless, ideal location, bus stop outside the gate to just about anywhere, beautiful walks, can't go wrong.

Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Good site, good standard of cleanliness, location good. Be aware that some areas are a bit noisier, due to group activities. Not bad but can be annoying.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the services (toilets, showers etc) were great and always very clean.

Friends getaway
Medium Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches (Adult Only) Jun 2025 Great campsite, lovely staff. Some noise from the road but never worried us. In a great spot for walks and trains. The showers and toilets were lovely, especially the new ones.
Only thing we thought was not good was the water in the sinks in the toilets was to high a temperature. Needs turning lower. Never thought I would say that at a campsite, but usually it is not hot enough.
