Perfect destination - what more could you ask for?

Excellent campsite, all facilities were very clean. The shower and toilets were always clean and tidy. The extras included the fridge/ freezer facilities and good recycling. Friendly staff. Sun, wind with a little bit of rain. Plus first time for flying a kite. Can't wait to come back.

Stylish campsite right by the beach

We love this stylish campsite right by the surfing beach at Croyde. You can walk there easily. All facilities are well kept and clean and the village of Croyde is easily accessible with great eateries. There is even an award winning on-site food van if you don't want to cook. Definitely recommend.

Lovely campsite

Really lovely campsite with lots to do close by! Cleanest campsite I've actually ever been to, even noticed them cleaning at 11pm when everyone had gone to bed. Lovely staff who can't do enough for you. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next year out of main season as it wasn't as busy as I've seen it can get when we came in May. Food was also really nice. Overall, an amazing campsite so well done guys, keep smashing it!

Perfect place to stay

From the moment you arrive at Ocean Pitch you know you've picked the right place to stay. On arrival, you will be greeted by one of the fantastic team who will give you a run down of the facilities and a very warm welcome. The pitches are great sizes, with rope separation to section off your pitch and giving a very tidy aesthetic. The facilities are always spotlessly clean and I was very impressed with how often everything was being cleaned and checked over. The view from Ocean Pitch is incredible and you're literally a stone's throw from Croyde beach one of the top surfing beaches in the UK. From reception you are also able to hire surf equipment at very competitive prices. For beginners the reception team can steer you in the direction of any one of the three surf schools at Croyde beach that are again within a stone's throw (Surfing Croyde Bay). Finally, breakfast and dinner can be purchased from the wonderful Biffen's Kitchen, the onsite food van, which has themed dinner dishes and great choices for breakfast too. All in all, I can't recommend any more highly that you stay at Ocean Pitch than I do already. A truly 5 star stay.

Relaxing campsite with fabulous view over Croyde Beach

Perfect site for a quiet, comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the chilled surf vibe, with surf kit for hire, street food vendor on site, hot water shower for warming up after a chilly April swim/surf. Just a 2min walk from the beach and uninterrupted sea view from our campervan. Great facilities all round, especially the ladies' hair & beauty zone with complimentary products, hairdryers, straighteners and even glossy magazines!

Perfect site

Really nice small site, next to the sea. Food was brilliant, the facilities were all clean and staff very pleasant. We only stayed for one night, but already plan on returning for 3-4 nights. Would highly recommend the site.

Fantastic beachside campsite, with great facilities

My partner and I had a great time staying at Ocean Pitch in our campervan (with electric hookup). We wanted a campsite with a sea view and that's exactly what we got- we were also happy with the price, which seemed marginally cheaper than others nearby, but I felt with even better access to the beach with it being only a couple of minutes walk away. We also walked into Croyde town and across to the Beach Cafe on the other side of the beach with no problem at all from the site. The facilities including an onsite food truck, nice toilets, a wash basin area, showers, ice pack loans, and a mini shop for drinks and toiletries were all lovely and the site was far more kitted out than I'd realised it was. It's a great set up and I would 100% recommend them and I would return there too. Also- we found the site to be welcoming and safe for LGBT+ people with a lovely friendly group of staff and, perhaps luckily, very lovely diverse campers all having a great time and chatting with each other. My partner had been to Ocean Pitch before and left with friends for life! That being said, it was still a great place to relax and unwind, so I still feel very recharged and got my peace and quiet, despite the lovely people to talk to.
