Great campsite, perfectly placed to explore the New Forest area. Well maintained site and nice to have free choice where you pitch. The facilities were very clean, warm and well stocked with loo roll and soap. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fairly near the road but it was quite quiet at night and the upside is that it is easily walkable to the pubs in Brockenhurst. A great stay and we would definitely return.
Beautiful setting!

Beautiful site set amongst the forest with ponies wandering through. Pitches aren't allocated so you can literally park up wherever you choose. Great access to hiking and cycle trails and easy walking or cycling to Brockenhurst. Facilities perfectly adequate and clean. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

This site is lovely and spacious and you get to pick your own pitch amongst the trees. Campers are asked to be at least 6 metres from each other, so it didn't feel crowded. The site had lovely views, plus ponies and cows wandering around as there's direct access to grazing areas and the forest. Facilities were clean and plentiful. We did go mid week so it could be busier at weekends, but would recommend the site.

You can hear the road slightly but if you're looking to get nestled in amongst the birds in the trees - this is the spot! Top tip: pitch up facing the field away from the road ;)
One peaceful night

Only here for one night. The site is as it says on the website. The staff are so friendly, toilets and showers clean. My two grand-daughters enjoyed cycling their bikes, toasting marshmallows on the BBQ, watching the horses walk through the site. A ten minute stroll to the river by Balmer Lawn Hotel. A beautiful first time experience of camping overnight in the campervan with grandma.
Fantastic site, great fun

We're just starting out in our new Motorhome. Booked two nights and now on our second day have booked two more nights and there's no rush to return home. This is a beautiful location and fairly quiet now that the school holidays are over. We haven't had a chance to explore yet but just love being in this quiet and peaceful rural environment.

The perfect spot to camp for 2 days, under the trees with ponies wandering around. Other campers respectful and quiet after 9.30pm, plenty of facilities checked regularly. Plenty to do in the area. We'll be back.

This is a lovely place to stay, the area to pitch in is flat, there are lots of access roads winding around, and you pick your own spot. The toilet and shower blocks were clean and warm. The site was quiet after ten. The only thing that woke me up was people throwing glass into the recycling bin but thatβs just the odd person not thinking about their actions. Everyone I chatted to was lovely. Ponies and cows wander through the site so be aware of that! The only time I talked to any staff was at check in but they were very pleasant and knowledgeable.

We just loved this site bordering onto open fields with New Forest ponies roaming. Fairly short walk from centre of Brockenhurst with many pubs/ restaurants (Enzo pizzeria by the station; Dynasty Indian curry house two we used). We camped with the dog and once we had parked up we didn't use the car again until we left - walked everywhere and there is a lot to walk and see. Really friendly site with good showers and clean toilet facilities. A shop on site with a few essentials would have been useful but you can get anything in Brockenhurst.

The setting is beautiful with views across the forest and land with lots of ponies and cows who happily wander round the campsite. It is summer holidays and so we were expecting it to be busy and it was. We unfortunately couldn't get there until 6pm on the Friday and so didn't get a choice of pitches which meant we ended up under a very bright security light, which was a shame. Also, right next to a very busy and noisy road (even through the night). So would recommend you get there early to get a good pitch. Otherwise, was a lovely site with really helpful staff, clean and plentiful facilities and easy access to lovely walks and 15 mins to 3 local pubs.
