Glamping Cabin - The Boat Shed Ensuite Glamping Cabin (Dog Friendly)Nov 2025It was a beautiful, cosy cabin. Though not very suitable for kids, as the space is quite small. It has a lovely garden and is located in a very quiet area.
Excellent hideaway

Glamping Cabin - The Boat Shed Ensuite Glamping Cabin (Dog Friendly)Jul 2025I stayed here with my daughter and best friends for a few nights getaway, and it was a perfect spot for it. Close to the marina, round the corner from the Mayflower Pub (lovely food!) and the salt swimming baths where we had a nice swim and had fun on the inflatable assault course!
It's a great little place to explore the lovely town of Lymington, and it's also really well set up, with tea and coffee provided, milk in the fridge and locally made cake.
The Boat Shed is cleverly furnished and set up, like one of George Clarke's small places. We were surprised to find an oven as well as 2-ring hob, and we'd be left with BBQ coals in a kettle BBQ, which was also a lovely touch.
Ample parking for 2 cars too, although the gate entrance is quite narrow.
All in all an perfect little hideaway, we really enjoyed our stay, thank you.
The communication about what was there and what to expect was also great.
Things to consider, the mezzanine bed is fabulous but not suitable really for an adult - perfect for child able to manage a bunk bed ladder. The gate at the entrance says 'The Hut' in really small writing, so we struggled to find it initially as we were looking for the Boat Shed!
