About the site
Hire a boat in Beccles, visit the beaches of Southwold, go crabbing in Walberswick or sit back and relax amongst nature at this wildlife haven. Family and dog friendly, this is a lovely spot to slow down and escape from the everyday. There are just five grass pitches with optional 10 amp electric hook up for tents only. Each spacious pitch is surrounded by rewilded areas to give privacy and the feeling of being immersed in nature. You'll also be provided with your own picnic bench. If glamping is more your style, the Bumblebee Glamping Pod is the ideal romantic getaway for two. Inside you will find a cosy double bed, along with a dining table, mini kitchenette, kettle and fridge, with bedding and towels both provided. There are also two shepherd's huts to choose between, Dragonfly and Foxglove. These are complete with a cosy double bed with all linen and towels provided, a dining table, cooking equipment for use in an outdoor cooking area as well as access to a small, communal kitchenette space with a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge and freezer. All glamping units have their own outdoor seating, fire pit and private designated shower/toilet in a nearby shower block. Up to two people can sleep in the shepherd's hut, but there is space for a travel cot and space outside to pitch a tent for an additional four people. A maximum of two dogs are allowed for an additional cost, just please ensure they remain on the lead. Campfires are allowed and you can rent a fire pit on site from the honesty shop along with wood, kindling and other goodies.

What time is check-in and check out at The Wildings Elms Meadow?
Check-in is from 1pm until 8pm for camping and from 3pm-8pm for glamping. If you are going to be delayed please let the site know. On your last day, departure is due before noon for camping and by 10am for glamping.
Is The Wildings Elms Meadow dog-friendly?
Yes, dogs are welcome here! Up to two dogs are permitted to join you, please note that there is an extra charge for bringing dogs. Do note that they should be kept on the lead at all times and not left unattended. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa are not permitted.
Does The Wildings Elms Meadow allow BBQs and campfires?
Of course, it's all part of the camping experience - although do ensure they are raised off the ground and open fires are in raised fire pits. Please ensure that you keep a fire pit a minimum of 3m from any structures and ideally on top of the slab provided. The site also asks that you be mindful of wind direction and long grass, and put fires out before bed (watering cans can be found by the shower block). There is a metal bin by the shower block for you to empty ash into. Wood must be purchased onsite.
Does The Wildings Elms Meadow allow group bookings?
The site is aimed at families and couples and therefore the site doesn't accept group bookings - this includes hen and stag parties, sorry.
Does The Wildings Elms Meadow have a quiet time or noise policy?
Yes, quiet hours are between 9pm and 9am.

Can I bring an awning, gazebo or pup tent with me to The Wildings Elms Meadow?
Yes, one of each may be brought with you for a small extra fee. If you are bringing an awning, gazebo or pup tent please ensure that you add this onto your booking.
Can I park near my pitch at The Wildings Elms Meadow? Or Is there parking adjacent to the pitch?
Parking isn't available by your pitch but there is a car park just a short walk away from the accommodation. Please avoid bringing more than one car and please park considerately as the car park can get busy during certain times of the year.
What amp is the electric hook up at The Wildings Elms Meadow?
The grass pitches have an optional 10 amp hook up, to use the electric hook up there is an extra fee on top of the pitch price.
