About the site


Located right on the edge of Powfoot Beach, making it ideal for relaxing coastal escapes. There are a number of quaint, historical towns nearby, including Dumfries and Carlisle (30 minutes), so there's plenty to see and do on your trip. After a day exploring the local area, you can head to the onsite Sandpiper Cafe Bar to grab a bite to eat in a cosy, rustic atmosphere. Then you can settle in for some fantastic on-site entertainment. There is a range of grass pitches with electric hook ups for tourers. Or, choose from the camping pods which include heating, lighting and furnishings such as a bed, kettle, TV and fridge. Outside, a decked area to soak in the views. The deluxe cabins sleep two and offer electricity and heating. Inside is a bed, a kettle, a TV and a mini fridge, plus outdoor decking. You'll also have your own kitchenette and shower room in the pod. The park is also dog-friendly, so your four-legged friends can join you. For those looking for something with a few more home comforts, there is also a range of two and three bedroom static caravans available.

Things to do on site and in the Annan area

Staying here, you'll have direct access to the beach to enjoy a relaxing stroll. There is also the Powfoot Golf Club, five minutes away, and a great way to spend an afternoon.

If you fancy heading further afield, there are even more beautiful walking trails around Powfoot Lakes and nature reserves packed with local wildlife. Some of Scotland's most famous bird watching areas are located there, so be sure to check them out if you're a nature lover.

Carlisle is only half an hour by car, giving you a taste of history, charming independent shops and a Cathedral to explore. Walby Farm Park (35 minutes) offers a fantastic family day out and seasonal events throughout the year.
