Tollgate

Lovely stay with all we needed, location was good except for the walk down to Perranporth due to no pavement and having to use tracks, not good for the old or infirm.

Thank you for the review. Very pleased you had a good stay. For guests who don't want to or would struggle with the walk to and from the beach we are on a main Newquay to Falmouth bus route, so two buses an hour to and from Perranporth. This is a service used by many of our guests. Hope to see you again soon.

Great location, great site

Everything you needed was in one place. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The site has everything you need to have a great stay.

Lovely site, with friendly helpful staff. Definitely recommend the Sunset Pizza van that comes to the site.

Lovely campsite

Loved staying here, was nice & peaceful, calming & relaxed. Owner was very helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay here again, only 1 mile outside of Perranporth.

Fabulous Site

Pitches are a good size. Not overcrowded. Well worth a visit. Staff were friendly and the site lived up to previous positive reviews. Various food vans visit in the evenings. Would recommend the pizza company, but pre order.

Peace and quiet

Great location, and awesome walks through the dunes. Everything we needed on site, including different food vendors on different evenings. Lovely, helpful staff and above all, peace and quiet. 😎

What a little gem

It was a well-run site with lots of helpful people. We stayed in Willow, which had wonderful sights of the dunes and the sea in the distance. We will definitely stop again and bring the family next time, as there was plenty for the kids to do. We stopped as it was close to our friends, who live in Camborne. We didn't move far from the site, we just chilled as both of us were getting over an illness, so it was just what the doctor ordered.

A nice relaxed site

A lovely relaxed stay at Tollgate Farm. All staff were friendly, a great site with big pitches and nice walks to choose from. My only criticism would be that I felt the toilets/shower blocks weren't cleaned often enough, and due to the site being totally full & jam packed, this did show in the cleanliness of the facilities. Other than that, a lovely place.

4 night stay

What an amazing little find! Just a 15 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute bus back up the hill! Bus stop right outside the gate with buses to Newquay, Falmouth and anywhere in between. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful camp site

Lovely tranquil site, wonderful views and walks. Ideal spot to explore Cornwall from. Great facilities and lovely staff. Will definitely visit again.

Wonderful holiday

We had a wonderful holiday at Tollgate Farm, everyone was very friendly, the pitches were large and flat .The site was very quiet, which was a big bonus, and the toilet/shower block was one of the best I have ever seen. We will be going back and would certainly recommend the site to others.

Very clean and tidy, good value for money and we are definitely coming back. Lovely site, well maintained, showers and toilets were immaculate. Decent sized pitches. Beautiful area, close to the beach and would definitely recommend and return.

Post Easter break

Cleanliness, friendliness, location, second to none. We had storm Noa whilst we were there, but that was the only issue during our stay. Highly recommended.

Stargazing site

Think we picked the worst week of the year so far. Weather positively monsoon, but cannot fault the site for that. A couple of clear nights to see so many stars, which was breath-taking. The animals were cooed over by my 3-year-old granddaughter, who was actually staying at a neighbouring site with her parents. Tollgate FArm was so much better than what Haven offered, they had nothing that she could play on for her age, not even a swing. Facilities were fine for us, plenty of showers, toilets and everything you needed. I would have liked the water to stay on a little longer in the showers though. The push knob system only gave you seconds before it went off, leaving you searching with your eyes full of soap, but I suppose its water saving. Very clean site and plenty of space. Thank you.
