On a hilly site Single Axle Caravan - XL Fully Serviced Touring and Motorhome Pitches (Hardstanding) Aug 2022 Nice place, I had an issue about a fault with WiFi not working so well. Reported this issues and takes a few days to fix because the engineer on leave! On high season, which is an important period of needs?
This place is nice, but be aware that this site is on a hill side.
No nearby shop around this area.
Fantastic site within walking distance of Ilfracombe harbour
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Campervan Pitches (Hardstanding) Aug 2022 The hosts are genuinely nice people who want your stay to be as pleasant as possible and can do enough to ensure that, even offering weary walkers a lift up to their pitch/ accommodation.
Our pitch was blessed with sun from around 10am to sunset and each pitch has its own electric point with drinking water and it's own grey waste drain. The wonderfully named 3 glamping pods "iPod, tripod & peapod" are in a beautiful setting along with some grass tent pitches. There isn't a shop on site but there is a petrol station and shop around a 5 mins walk away.
The park entrance which Genoa's everything you could need. Also, a very nice pub and not forgetting Hele's kitchen, who do great takeaway food including picnic boxes for the beach. A further 5 minutes walk is Hele cove which is a nice little beach (dog friendly) where you can either paddle board or Kayak (I did twice).
The lodges and statics look great and some have hot tubs. We have already rebooked a stay in November (birthday treat) for a pod with hot tub and will definitely be back next year.

We were booked for just one night as a stop gap break however will definitely be back, but for longer next time. Thank you
Camping experience
Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 First time here and would highly recommend this site. It is perfectly located with very generous pitch sizes. Shower facilities excellent, never had any trouble getting a shower.
The best plus for me was the peace and quiet, a very tranquil site.
Lovely stay at Hele Valley
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Campervan Pitches (Hardstanding) Aug 2022 Lovely stay at this site. Even though it was full, it was quiet. Good sized pitches. I had a small camper van pitch and it was big enough for micro camper van, two man tent and a toilet tent.
Hele beach is a lovely cove. Great for children and paddle boarding. Bit of a long walk up hill back to the camping area after a long day out but manageable when done slowly.
Stayed for a week and would have stayed longer if I could. Only thing I would say would enhance the site more would be a takeaway shop/café on site.

Will certainly recommend and given chance will visit again.
Great trip
Medium Tent - Large Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2022 Excellent trip to Hele Valley Holiday Park. The site was lovely and clean and really quiet at night time.
Would really recommend for small quiet families, or couples.
