About the site

Feeling like it's a world away from everything, any yet in reality only two miles from cosy inns, shops and other local amenities - it's the best of both worlds here. Pitches range from grass to hardstanding, but most offer a combination of grass for tents and awnings alongside a hardstanding area for your tourer. There are plenty of electric hook-ups for campers and caravanners.

Things to do on site and in the Blandford Forum area

No need to walk the dog alongside hooting traffic, the farm offers a pretty 1 km stroll for you and your four legged friend, plus a chance to ramble a few lovely miles in many directions.

A great starting point is the Hod and Hambledon Hill which you can see from base, then conquer on foot and reward yourself with unmissable views.

All the best walks end with a delicious pub lunch, as everyone knows, so be sure to end up at one of Pimperne's excellent pubs, or the White Horse in Stourpaine.

Poole and its famous harbour is a short drive and if the coastline is calling, 25 minutes in the car will take you to Bournemouth's beach. If you've been inspired by the timeless Hovis ad, you can see Gold Hill in Shaftesbury just 10 minutes away.
