Wind down in The New Forest
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 Lots of pitch spaces available in several different areas so plenty of choice where to pitch, which enabled us to really enjoy a peaceful overnight stay with our dog.
The Ladies WC facilities were much better than I thought they would be and couldn't fault them at all!! All modern, clean, toilet paper dispenser, hot water in sinks, soap dispenser and air hand dryer. There was a washing up station available and showers too, which we didn't use on this occasion, but would on a longer stay.
Very cheerful staff greeted us as we drove up to the reception, handing us a site map and wished us a lovely stay and to go to the reception or call if we were unsure of anything, or if we had any queries or complaints.
A variety of different campers around; young families playing games, older couples walking, all dogs were on leads and well behaved and everyone respected the 10pm quiet rule. Perfect.

Loved having an area to myself. We took our two dogs lots of walking in the forest, loved seeing the ponies and donkeys roaming freely.
Would like to see more in the shop.
Had a fantastic time. Definitely come back again.
Lovely campsite, would recommend
Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 Lovely campsite, would have been much better if we had bikes, so next time we will bring some. It's a long way by foot to the nearest village, but the campsite itself is lovely.
Worth a visit

Picturesque Campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We visited in August and absolutely loved our stay. The site itself is huge with plenty of room to pitch wherever takes your fancy. We opted for a more woodland setting that really set the scene.
A delight was being able to watch the wildlife roam free through the camp, from the wild pones, cows and donkeys. The donkeys are great to watch with their little ones in toe.
The facilities at Roundhill are good, both toilets and showers are very clean, with plenty of hot running water.
There is a small shop at reception with a small amount of essentials, just incase you have forgotten anything. The prices are also very reasonable.
The site also benefits from numerous walking and cycling paths, that take you deep into the forest. We spent most mornings out walking for a good 90 minutes.
Looking forward to our return, a must if your just after peace and quiet and a place to recharge.

Location, location, location
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Location, location, location. Just the best place for a relaxing getaway. Only downside is price but I suppose you get what you pay for! It did seem a bit of a middle class enclave at times.

Absolutely brilliant
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 One star lost as one of the shower blocks broke, however this was fixed the very next day and was working again by afternoon.
It was brilliant to see the staff get out and litter pick, the site is amazingly clean, tidy and well looked after.
We're coming back next year for longer.

Lovely campsite

Upon arrival we were approached by a friendly member of staff who provided a site map and explained where everything was and general rules of the site. We (family of 5) found a nice spot to pitch up far enough away from other campers. Everyone around us adhered to the site rules and we had a nice peaceful evening.
The facilities are clean and tidy and bins regularly emptied. It was lovely to see ponies and donkeys freely walking around the site.
Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short by a day due to work demands but we will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Beautiful Family Campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We had a wonderful stay at Roundhill Campsite taking our 1 year old son for his first camping trip.
The facilities are very basic (washing up, showers, toilets) but clean and plentiful - we prefer no frills camping so this suited us perfectly. You really feel like you are out in nature with the wild horses, donkeys and cows.
Lots of space to explore, felt very safe and friendly and the staff were great.

Tranquil forest setting
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Roundhill campsite is the perfect place for campers who want a peaceful and low-key forest stay. There is plenty of space to pitch away from others and find privacy in this very natural forest setting.
There is an abundance of Birdlife as well as the ponies, donkeys and cows who roam free around the site.
The showers and toilets are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and all the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Brockenhurst is a short drive away or if you prefer to cycle or walk, the forest paths are a lovely route.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Even though we only stayed for 1 night it was lovely. Everything was so clean and the staff are amazing.
A beautiful location and it was so peaceful. I couldn't recommend it more!
