Very pleasant stay Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 We really enjoyed our stay. Very good location and friendly owner. The shower blocks were kept clean and tidy. I hate shower curtains and the cubicles were a bit on the small side but having said that, the water was warm and cubicles clean.
I would be more than happy to stay again at this site.
Great campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 Only stayed the one night, which was a shame as it was a very nice and clean campsite. Great dog walk for our dogs after our long journey.
The toilet block, which we requested to be as near as possible and we where pitched right next door, which was a bonus due to my wife's disability, was clean and tidy. The owner came over to have a chat and what a wonderful gentleman he was to speak to.
We will return but for a longer stay. Thoroughly recommend this campsite.
Very good site Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 Very good park. Well laid out and the pitches were a nice distance apart. Toilet block was regularly cleaned and the owner came and checked everything was ok and that if we needed anything.
Facilities excellent too.
Would definitely recommend this site
Pleasant quiet site Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 A nice site, very friendly owner and well run. Clean and tidy and ideal for visiting places like Lacock, Cean Locks, Castle Combe and many other pretty villages.
Island of tranquility Recommends site
Large Tent - Small Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 I have been to many, many campgrounds all over the U.K. and this one is very special. The grounds are lovely, the owners are lovely, the showers and toilets are lovely. This is a nice, peaceful, family oriented campground so, if you are a late night partier, this one is not for you! (please!)
There is no shop on the grounds, which is not a problem as there are shops a 5 minute drive away and a small shop in the village (ten minute walk), where you can find eggs, bread, milk, and essentials. Lacock is such a nice historical village and Castle Combe is equally lovely to visit. Just the break I needed!
