About the site


Set in peaceful countryside on the Leicestershire and Derbyshire border, this small, adult only site is great for a relaxing getaway. With just 30 pitches spread across an open field, guests can enjoy lovely rural views, including the nearby church and priory set on Bredon Hill. The grass pitches measure around 10m x 10m and can take tents, trailer tents, roof tents and campervans. The hardstanding touring pitches are also 10m x 10m and come with 16 amp electric hook ups, suitable for caravans, motorhomes and campervans. The village of Breedon on the Hill is just a ten minute walk away, where guests will find a handy shop and a couple of cosy pubs, perfect for a tasty meal or a drink in the evening. For days out, there's plenty to explore nearby. Motorsport fans can head to Donington Park Circuit just five minutes away, while the beautiful Calke Abbey is around a 15 minute drive, with parkland, gardens and historic buildings to discover. Derby is also 25 minutes away, full of top attractions! Dogs are very welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch, so four-legged companions can enjoy the break too. There's even an outdoor dog wash, which might come in handy after muddy walks in the countryside. For outdoor cooking, BBQs are welcome as long as they are raised safely off the ground. Open fires are not permitted.
