VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 A nice little site. Clean toilet and shower facilities. There is a washing pots area. All the information needed was provided up front. I would definitely stay here again.
Easy to find Recommends site
Motorhome - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Ewes Water, as in the name of a Rugby Club. Easy to find.
A very clean, well managed site. Showers totally brilliant, as are toilets. Grass kept short, easier to keep clean and dry.
Nice little site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 A lovely little site. It's more of a caravan type site, but it was clean, had nice facilities and level pitches. There was a perfect café for breakfast just up the road.
Can't be improved Recommends site
Twin Axle Caravan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Just back from 14 days and have had time to study what could be improved, and try as I might I can't find anything. Breeze's "Uncle Michael" visited her every day despite him being busy with site chores.
Dave and Kerrie have this site up and running as it should be, on a professional basis and should be proud of their efforts. Will be back in April 2025.
Cheap as chips with steak on the side Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Stayed at Ewes Water overnight, little gem of a site. Facilities were very clean despite the site appearing full for the night.
Nice walk into Langholm, few pubs and places to eat. Stopped off at small cafe, first bite when travelling home, best scones ever tasted. Coffee wasn't too bad either. Will definitely be back, well worth the money.
Great site Recommends site
Motorhome - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Great location, great service, would definitely recommend.
Great stopoff Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Good, hot showers. Clean site with good water and power connections.
Will definitely use again -thank you.
Very relaxing site Recommends site
Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Everything as described on site advert. Great location, excellent mix of tents, tourers, vans, not separated like some sites. Facilities on site are impeccable, cleaned regularly by a singing lady. Bar staff happy to help with ice blocks. Michael generally floating about if anything is required. Even got to watch some Eggball.
The dark skies are brilliant and the wildlife frequent. The noise from the bridge can give you a start, but once you get used to it, it's fine. The local village has everything you need and the local community are very welcoming and helpful.
Peaceful Recommends site
Motorhome - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Sep 2024 Lovely site ideally situated on outskirts of Langholm. Lovely walk into town via field and lane. First Bite a must coffee stop Good, clean and modern facilities. Excellent value for money.

Motorhome - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 We stayed just 1 night but the site was quiet, clean and the shower block was great.
Great site - highly recommend! Recommends site
Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Great site in an excellent location and great facilities - the toilets and showers are very well maintained and it’s only a short walk into Langholm itself. Everyone was very friendly and respectful of the quiet hours after 10pm. Will definitely be back! :)
Quiet and clean Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 A quiet and small site. Facilities were very clean and well looked after. Very dog friendly with dog bags on every pitch for you to use.
Perfect little campsite Recommends site
Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 What a lovely campsite! It is in a great location and just a short walk to Langholm, where there are all the shops that you need. The site is well looked after and the facilities were always clean. It is really good value for money. We loved our stay and will definitely use this site again.

Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 A lovely peaceful site with immediate access to the A7 for touring the borders region.

Motorhome - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Nice, clean and easy access site.
Quiet and clean campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Nice sized campsite with good facilities. Toilets are modern and kept very clean. Excellent powerful shower that you don't have to pay extra for. Two indoor washing up sinks for washing up in the warm and dry. Very good value for money. Easy to find and walkable distance into Langholm. A café nearby for if you don't want to cook breakfast in your tent.
The camping field isn't right next to the toilet block so there is a small walk, this wasn't a problem for us but it is something to consider. It could use facilities for freezing freezer blocks. There is a bridge on the way in to the campsite that sounds like a rumble of thunder as it is crossed. Usually it is only an occasional car passing over it, but on rugby training nights, there was approximately 30 cars crossing it in quick succession, which wore a bit thin. Be aware of this if you're staying in a tent, particularly.
Fab little campsite Recommends site
Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Fab little campsite, cut our break a day short as we didn't fancy braving the forecast.
Showers and toilets lovely and clean. Excellent value for money. Lovely breakfast in the café next door to site. We made the most of the bad weather and still enjoyed the break away. Will definitely return.
We all helped each other out onsite sorting tents out in the dreadful condition.
Great site Recommends site
Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 No issues, toilets were immaculate and always being cleaned. Pitches were flat and grass was cut short.
Nice as a base Recommends site
Medium Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 I couldn't fault the facilities and the cleanliness. Honestly, the cleanest I have experienced. Nice showers, no shortage of hot water or toilet rolls etc. This is an ideal site for a base if you want to explore.
Very good site and it suited us with having our two dogs Recommends site
Motorhome - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 Very nice site, especially having dogs where it was easy to exercise them in the field. Quiet site and easy walk into town. We will definitely be back.
What a fabulous site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding EcoGrid Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 A fantastic site situated next to the rugby field. There was a game on Saturday, the bar was open and everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
The facilities are excellent and immaculate, a great location for flitting between historical sites and wee villages.
Lovely Recommends site
Aug 2024 What a lovely, friendly, clean and welcoming site.
It was a very small site, it was quite just nice to let my 2 little ones run free.
Might not be one for you if you can't make your own fun. But perfect for my little family, definitely be going back.
Quiet, clean and great location Recommends site
Large Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Aug 2024 The site is a very small patch beside a rugby pitch, set at the bottom of rolling hills.
It's just outside the small town of Langholm which was very quiet but a nice town, the Co-op was well stocked for all camping needs. There is quite a bit of space between pitches, so plenty of room for everyone and kids. We had a great time playing on the rugby pitch with the kids. The facilities are very clean and we saw someone cleaning it almost every time we needed to use it, which was great for such a small site.
On Saturday, we were able to watch a local rugby derby which was great, they even open a small bar to buy a pint or two. Honestly, this is the best campsite we've found, at a great price too, unlike others where you are paying upward of £60 a night, it was roughly that for 4 nights here with electric hook up.
Two small downsides though, not much space to put your toothbrush or bag when you go to use the bathroom to get clean, and the bridge on the way in is a little noisy but it doesn't bother me at all really. We will be back, and in greater numbers!
