About New Barn Farm

Reconnect with nature on this Bedfordshire farm offering family-friendly luxury glamping. It's just under 30 minutes from the M1 and less than an hour from Greater London but seems like a whole world away. For those who love animals, you'll have the chance to meet pigs, sheep, pygmy goats, chickens, ponies and more. You even have the option of looking after a guinea pig or a pair of chickens during your stay. Children can play and explore the woodland, while the footpath networks and grass field margins around the farm give you plenty of space to walk, cycle, picnic and mini-go-karts. Oxford and Cambridge are within easy reach, and Silverstone is nearby too. The eight off-grid canvas lodges are located at the edge of the Blackwell Spinny, looking out to stunning views of a six-acre field with grazing animals. Each has space for a group of six, including a living area, three bedrooms (double bed, a cupboard bed and a bunk bed) and a fully equipped kitchen with a wood-fired stove. There are also games and more to keep everyone entertained. You'll also have the choice of an indoor or private outdoor shower (highly recommend to be even closer to nature). The owners, Hannah and Will, are always on hand to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. Don't miss the farm's delicious pizza nights and well-stocked honesty shop.

New Barn Farm is open from 29/03 to 31/10.

A note from the site themselves...

Hannah and Will are looking forward to welcoming you to their family farm near London. There's a whole menagerie of animals here, quite literally - a pig, three farm dogs, sheep, pygmy goats, geese, ducks, chickens and ponies to groom, so there's little chance of boredom during your stay.

Our mission at Feather Down is to help you reconnect to nature and each other, away from everyday life.
