About the site
Set across 11 acres of open countryside, this friendly, family-run site is a great place to relax. There's even a handy onsite village store for picking up groceries, camping bits and local treats, so everything you need is close by. Campers can choose from spacious non electric and 16 amp electric hook ups. All of the pitches can take up to ten people in tents, campervans and caravans. The layout across two fields means there's lots of room, and groups can often pitch up together, with a paddock area reserved for mainly adult only bookings too. For those wanting to leave the tent pegs at home, there are cosy camping pods and fully set-up ready tents. The pods sleep up to four people, with two single sofa beds and space for extra camp beds for children and are dog free. The ready tents come in sizes for four, six or even eight people, each with airbeds already set up inside. Outside, guests will find a picnic bench along with cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery and a BBQ, perfect for easy outdoor meals. Just remember to bring your own bedding and towels. There's plenty to see and do nearby too. The historic city of Cambridge is around 40 minutes away, known for its historic colleges, pretty streets and punting trips along the River Cam. Bedford is closer at just 20 minutes, and families with younger children will love Gulliver's Land Theme Park Resort, about 40 minutes away! Dogs are very welcome here, with up to two allowed per pitch or ready tent. There's even a secure dog walking area where four-legged friends can stretch their legs. In the evening, guests can gather around a fire pit or enjoy a BBQ, as long as everything is raised safely off the ground (these may be restricted during very hot, dry weather).
Camping, touring and glamping pods are available from 16th March to 1st November, ready tents are available from 2nd April to 1st October. Pitches from £30/night for 2 people.
