This small site offers five spacious non electric grass pitches for tourers. Enjoy countryside views, sunsets, and starry skies with wildlife all around. Onsite, try paragliding, land yachting, or go fishing in the River Nene (10 minutes). Ely Cathedral is 30 minutes away, and Peterborough is 40 minutes away.

About the site


The site is an ideal base for CAMC members to relax and escape everyday life. Set in the heart of the Fens, enjoy countryside views, sunsets, and starry skies, or venture to Ely (30 minutes) and Peterborough (40 minutes) for days out. Onsite, there are five spacious 15m x 15m non electric grass pitches, suitable for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes. Please note, the site has no shower facilities, so guests must make use of their own. Guests can enjoy a friendly game of pétanque or try something new with land yachting and paragliding lessons. For a local day out, the market town of March is just ten minutes away, offering pubs, eateries, shops, and a train station with routes to Cambridge, Norwich, and beyond. Up to three dogs are welcome onsite, provided they are kept on their leads. BBQs and campfires are permitted here, though please ensure they are raised off the ground.

Onsite, guests will have access to a toilet block and a chemical disposal point. Please note, the site has no shower facilities, so guests must have use of their own. There are also picnic tables. Guests can use the pétanque court, learn how to land yachts, and paraglide (tuition and equipment hire are available).

March is within a ten minute drive from the site, offering several pubs, including The Seven Stars, The Rose and Crown March, The Men Of March, and Ye Olde Griffin. There is a Premier, One Stop, and an Iceland five minutes away.

*Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times. Please note that dogs listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted onsite.

*BBQs and fire pits are permitted onsite, provided they are raised off the ground.

*Open fires are prohibited.

*Units longer than 12 metres are not allowed.

*Visitors must leave the site by 11pm.


Things to do on site and in the March area

March is just ten minutes away with plenty of pubs, cafes, and eateries. Also, within ten minutes, families can enjoy Skylark Maize Maze and Funyard, offering outdoor fun with go-karting, tractor rides, mazes, and more.

Half an hour away, Ely is ideal for a historical day out. Explore the Ely Cathedral, Oliver Cromwell's House with its audio tours, escape room, and tourist centre, and relax with a walk or picnic in Ely Country Park.

National Trust - Houghton Mill and Waterclose Meadows is also 30 minutes away, home to a working flour mill, riverside walks, and chances for paddleboarding, canoeing, and kayaking.

A 40 minute drive takes you to Ferry Meadows in Nene Park, where you'll find cycling trails, fishing, woodland, horseback riding, and lakeside walks. Stop off in Peterborough on the way, with its wide selection of shops and eateries.

For attractions further away, both the Sandringham Estate and Hamerton Zoo Park are around 50 minutes from the site.
