About Welltrough Hall Farm
Welltrough Hall Farm is situated just outside the village of Lower Withington in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. The quiet and peaceful site offers stunning views overlooking the 270 acre farm and beyond. An adult-only site, Welltrough welcomes touring caravans and motorhomes on fully serviced hardstanding pitches. Each is spacious and generally flat with great views, and all have electric hook ups, water supply and grey waste drain. The site also incorporates a CAMC Certificated Location. As well as the touring pitches, there are fully serviced grass pitches and three en-suite glamping pods and a lovely shepherd's hut (again, all adult-only). The superior Owl pod is furnished to the highest of standards. Sleeping two, the pod includes a double bed, kitchenette with table and chairs and en-suite shower room. Outside an electric hot tub sits atop the decking area. Also furnished to a very high standard, the Badger pod sit in a beautiful spot. Again it sleeps two and inside you'll find a fixed double bed, along with a kitchenette and en-suite toilet and shower - and ample decking outside. Badger pod also offers an electric hot tub. The shepherd's hut is also perfect for two, with a double bed, kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, electric log burner and TV. Outside is a large patio with a gas BBQ, stove and a picnic bench. The hut has its own private bathroom adjacent and a relaxing electric hot tub for guests. Looking out over tempting views is the woodland hut, which also has its own luxurious hot tub. Adult only, it's beautifully furnished and sleeps two with an excellent double bed, en-suite facilities and good size kitchen with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, electric hob, kettle, toaster and TV. There is also The Alpaca Pod which sleeps two in a cosy double bed. Inside is also an ensuite, small kitchen with a dishwasher and underfloor heating. Outside you can find your own hot tub, perfect for a night under the stars with a glass of wine! Dogs welcome in all accommodation, but must be kept on a lead while onsite.
Welltrough Hall Farm is open all year round.
Facilities include well maintained showers and flushing toilets, laundry with coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer, dog shower and farm walk. All pods have their own en-suite facilities and the shepherd's hut has private facilities. WiFi is available free of charge. A 3km mown grass walk offers bins for dog walkers and there's a free, warm doggie shower.
The Red Lion pub is a short walk away, providing good food and drinks. The site is well positioned for local shops, banks and eating out - with Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Knutsford, Macclesfield and Alderley Edge all a short drive away.

This was our second stay at the glamping pods and it was another great stay! There's a lovely walk which we did twice that was very lovely and refreshing and we also had dinner at the old pub (The Trap), which was so delicious. There is also a lovely ice cream place nearby called Bidlea Dairy and it is delicious. The pod was lovely and clean and tidy and also smelt very clean. We couldn't recommend these glamping pods enough. Thank you Nick for a great stay!

Booked as a birthday getaway for my partner. He loved it! The site was great! Hassle free arrival, cosy pod with a very inviting hot tub. Also the farm was very well laid out with nicely maintained walks, which was a bonus having brought our dog along. I was worried about it being cold with a drop to freezing temperatures but the pod remained nice and warm. Even surrounded by ice and frost, we were in the hot tub in the evenings - star gazing, oblivious to the cold. Country pubs a short walk away and all the amenities needed a 5 minute drive away. The pod was clean and had everything needed in it, I was impressed by it having an air fryer, not that we did any cooking (it was meant to be a break after all).

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. It was perfect and the hot tub added to the great experience. It was beautiful and peaceful and Nick the owner communicated everything perfectly via email, to the point we didn't even meet him but everything went smoothly due to the great communication. I would most definitely recommend this glamping site and hope to return.

Things to do on site and in the Macclesfield area
Take the pooch for a sniff and bark around the dog walk and there is also a public footpath that runs through the far field as well as numerous walks in the area.
