Fantastic stay

Fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. Great food served in the on site restaurant and with prices to match. Nice little farm shop this also includes camping accessories. Perfect and relaxing…. Nice clean toilets and facilities. We will definitely visit again.

Not good

We had a fully serviced tourer pitch. No Wi-Fi, which was a necessity for me. Only 1 chemical toilet in whole site, only 4 toilets, 2 of which were unisex. Toilets.at top of site not fit for purpose for size of site. Electrics kept tripping if more than one appliance was used, this was happening quite a lot and to others next to us. Would not return.

Lovely people

Really lovely site. You do need transport to get anywhere. Buses are infrequent. Shop and restaurant handy, but had to mark down a little as they close at 3 or 4pm and don't open in the evening. Really nice food. Quiet site, but if that's what you want, perfect.

Great campsite

Lovely campsite with excellent shop and cafe. Had a great takeaway and breakfast there. Wondered if the facilities might be a bit stretched when the campsite is full but they worked well when we were there. Quiet with lovely views.

excellent site

Our first time in north Cornwall Site is just off the main A39 so unsurprisingly, there was traffic noise but not too bad. The cows and sheep in the farm nearby were a gentle reminder we were in a country location. The site is on levels all the way and gives ideal privacy and facilities are spotless every day. We loved the showers. The cafe and shop provide all the standard camping gear and the food is wonderful. Staff were friendly throughout and there was nothing to find fault with.

Disappointed

Although we were told it was near a road, the noise was disturbing late evening and early morning. If camping in a tent, the ground was hard, uneven and on a slope. The toilet and shower blocks were basic and the cleaning was questionable. The shop was well stocked and the cafe was lovely.

A quiet end of March chill

It's the end of March and very quiet. This is what I wanted. The campsite is easy to find. I had a warm welcome. My pitch is level (gravel and grass). I've seen birds of prey in the sky above the camp, I've seen lambs running and jumping in the fields across from the campsite and pheasants have been of great interest to my dog! The toilets and showers are clean. There is hot water. It's quite close to the road, but hardly any traffic noise. I'd definitely come back. The best bit - amazing breakfast in the lovely on site cafe!

Cosy

A lovely site, the host was very welcoming, only 10min away from beautiful Bude. Great showers and you don't have to keep pushing the on button.

Motorhome overnight stay

Very clean, friendly site with easy access with motorhome. Shower block was clean, overall were pleased with this site.

Great campsite

Lovely campsite, just what we needed. The pitches were a perfect size, the campsite was clean and tidy and the shower/toilet block was immaculate. With the addition of a lovely little play park for the kids, a cafe and a wonderful farm shop, we couldn't have asked for more. We will absolutely stay here again. It is a small site with no frills but what they do have, they do well.

Pleasant stay and lovely cafe

Warm welcome from the host. Site is slightly sloping. No problems with finding my pitch and EHU. Cafe and shop on site where I had a fantastic lunch. Shower/toilet block is a little old fashioned but it all worked and was very clean. Handy location on the A39 makes it a good place for a stop-over if touring Cornwall.

Nice small site

We really enjoyed our second visit to this site. The cafe makes the visit for me. Lovely fresh food and great service. There are no frills on the actual campsite, basic but clean. It's a shame there are no footpaths straight from the site for dog walking. There is a regular bus service which we used this time to go into Bude and also down to Widemouth Beach. If I could change one thing, I would add a small area to walk the dog, especially as they are charging for them. Thanks for a good stay.

Fantastic site

What a lovely campsite. Staff and facilities were absolutely marvellous! We will definitely go back again. Thank you to all of the team. Showers and toilets were spotless. Food great in cafe too. Lovely little gift shop.

Great place

From arrival to departure the staff were superb. Great on site facilities and wonderful location. 10/10.

Disappointed

Camping for 3 nights. Showers and toilets very poor and dated. Pitch was unlevel next to road and farm, so 3 nights with not much sleep. Shop and café is advertised. Yes, it's lovely but facilities are a must when you're away, a little disappointed.

Lovely little site

Lovely little site, had everything we needed for our stay and at a reasonable price considering it is the summer holidays. I would recommend to our caravanners. Also, a good little shop onsite and nice looking café although we did not visit.

Fabulous

Fabulous place, very clean and a lovely shop on site.

Perfect family holiday

Lovely site. Everything you need and all new, fresh and clean. Only wish the café was open later, as it was so nice so far that we could go there for dinner too. Farm shop and camping shop were amazing, we were able to get an emergency blow up bed and had a choice of three, plus service to help up choose.

A good stop-over campsite

This was a really good stop-over campsite, just off a main road but not at all noisy.

Lovely site

Greeted warmly, upgraded to a hard standing. We were there for one night. Beautiful, small site. Facilities clean and convenient. Great price. Fabulous shop and café - lovely coffee! Would definitely return. The only observation was the vicinity to a busy road but it did not detract from our stay and we would definitely use again if in the area.

Fantastic site

This site had everything we needed and a lot more. Extremely friendly, well run site with clean amenities. Site shop and café, including a well stocked camping section and lovely views (you can even see the sea). Also, very easy access straight off the A39 North coast road. Highly recommended.

Cornish coast

Had a great stay, staff were brilliant, fantastic farm shop and café. Facilities were spotless. Very close to Widemouth Bay and Bude.

Great food at the cafe

The cafe and shop were so convenient and the food was really good. Nice to not have to cook for a few days. The staff were very considerate of my daughter's milk intolerance. Plenty of water taps and never had to walk far to the toilets, which were very clean and well maintained.
