About Wild Camping Cornwall

Situated in the heart of the Lizard Peninsula, this small and peaceful campsite offers guests a quiet and picturesque place to relax and recharge, surrounded by nature. Just ten minute from the Helford River and the South West Coast Path, the location is popular with both keen walkers and cyclists. The site offers just two non electric pitches and one bell tent, all spread across a glorious one acre field. Surrounded by trees, woodland and a wonderful natural pond, this is an ideal spot for sitting back and wildlife spotting. All of the pitches are spaced at least 25m away to ensure everyone has plenty of room and privacy. Tents are welcome across the two 7m x 7m non electric pitches, with up to four guests each. Each pitch comes with its own complimentary fire pit and a bag of firewood so you can enjoy the camping tradition of making smores or telling stories by firelight. If glamping is more your style, the site has a charming bell tent, finished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Sleeping up to three guests, the tent is equipped with a double futon bed, an optional single inflatable mattress, bedding and blankets. For keeping warm on those cooler evenings, there is a wood burner, along with cooking utensils, crockery and a washing up bowl. Outside you will find a fire pit, a bag of wood and foldable table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining. To ensure the site remains tranquil, cars are only allowed on the pitches on changeover days. The rest of the time the pitches are vehicle free, with parking just a short walk away and wheelbarrows provided for transporting any goods you might need. Sorry, this site is pet free.

The time we spent here was really prefect. Weather, nature & wildlife, trees and many quiet times, which is what we needed. Would recommend this campsite to anyone. The owners were very welcome and accommodating with our requests. There is a pub just walking distance and the possibility to use a fridge and charging station for your phone. We were not aware of this but we thought it was a great surprise. Must come back!
