About Garrison Campsite
Garrison Campsite is situated on the beautiful Isles of Scilly, 28 miles from Land End in the Atlantic Ocean. It is on St Mary's, the main island of the group and has a 9.5 acre site where you will enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. This is a family run and orientated site and many campers return year after year, making new friendships and renewing old ones. The site layout ensures a degree of intimacy and privacy, whilst the abundance of birds, butterflies and wildlife guarantees to entertain and delight. Tents, trailer tents and folding campers are all welcome. Unfortunately, motorhomes, campervans and caravans are not allowed on the islands. There are 10 electric pitches which can be reserved in advance if required. It is an ideal location for Scouts, Guides, schools, field trips, sea-kayaking trips and large family groups. Dogs are welcome! Campers arrive on the islands via ferry from Penzance, or small aircraft from Land's End, Newquay or Exeter. The team will meet the ferry every day and offer a luggage transport service to and from the quay and campsite.
Open from Easter until October.
Facilities include two toilet blocks with showers, WCs, washbasins, hairdryers and shaver points, as well as washing up and laundry facilities. There is also a campsite shop and reception area, mobile phone and laptop charging, and ice pack freezing.

Things to do on site and in the Isles Of Scilly area
St. Mary's is the largest island in the Isles of Scilly (still just 2.5 sq miles) and is the gateway to the rest of the islands for visitors.
There is a children's play park adjacent to the campsite. Nearby activities include golf, sailing, horse riding, bike hire, coasteering, and walking. Boat trips and golf buggy hire are also available.
Visit Hugh Town for the shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs. Or perhaps one of the three beaches - Porthcressa, Town beach, and Porthmellon. Old Town has its own beach, as well as a nature reserve.
