About Fox Camping
Just 20 minutes from the Cornish coastline with stunning distant sea views, this is an ideal base for exploring North Cornwall. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the site, with evenings enjoying a delicious fresh pizza made onsite! For an authentic woodland camping experience, pitch 14 is nestled amongst the trees. Measuring 5m x 5m, the pitch welcomes tents only with a double fire pit and picnic table included for outdoor dining. The rest of the 13 grass pitches are located among the top and lower fields, sized between 16m x 9m to 24m x 12m. Tents are welcome on all pitches, with trailer tents and campervans also welcome on pitches six, seven and nine. Up to seven guests are permitted per pitch, with room for everyone to unwind. Up to three dogs are welcome on the camping and touring pitches, just please keep them on the lead. Fire pits and BBQs are allowed but it is asked you keep them raised off the ground. The site also has a selection of fire pits available to hire, with kindling and marshmallows to buy too! Please note, this site is with The Greener Camping Club and at least one of your party must be a member. Membership costs £12 for the year and can be bought upon booking.

The Badger Barn homes several facilities including toilets, a family cubicle, showers, a washing up area, WiFi, a fridge and ice pack freezing. There is colouring in, bodyboards, wetsuits, Jenga, naughts and crosses to borrow. The area is also sheltered with seating and can be used to hang clothes to dry.
Fresh homemade pizzas can also be purchased every evening (notice is required). Marshmallows and fire pit hire are also available.
The closest pub is The Wilsey Down, a five minute drive away. Ten minutes away is a convenience store and post office for basic supplies

Tintagel is just 15 minutes away and has a dramatic coastline and ruins of an old castle to explore. The golden sands of Bude Beach are just 20 minutes away and are popular among those looking to lie back and sunbathe, or swim and try out some watersports.
For a day filled with family fun, the Hidden Valley adventure park is just a 15 minute drive away and is filled with mazes and team treasure hunts.
If you are looking for a unique experience, Bodmin Jail Attraction is a 35 minute drive from the site. Once home to prisoners, the site now offers ghost walks and exhibitions on the history of the previous residents.
