It's a setting which promises the best of both worlds, and with tourist hot-spots Newquay and Padstow a short drive away too. There's no club or bar to distract from the tranquility of the area, but a host of dog friendly options are nearby.

This park is a beautiful hidden gem 5 minutes drive from 2 little surfer beaches and easily commutable for the whole of Cornwall. We stayed in a Shephard's Hut with a private hot tub and BBQ and it was heavenly! We seriously considered booking more annual leave on the spot and extending our stay. Will definitely be back.

Loved our stay at this lovely little site. Area for tents and caravan/campers was spaced very well to give you a sense of space and privacy, picnic benches lovely little addition. The site was immaculately kept with little quirky areas dotted about. Great addition of a food van and bar so you could have tasty takeaway and refreshment while you waited Amenities were very clean and everything thought about for campers. There was even microwave, which was handy. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially as our car broke down part way through our stay. They allowed us to keep our car on the car park, outside the shop and even offered to help us take our tent and camping gear up to car in the site van if we needed. Very helpful and much appreciated. Loved the short wooded walk down to Mawgan Porth and beach. Beautiful area and good point to travel from on bus or car to surrounding areas and beautiful coastal path walks. Thoroughly loved our stay and would definitely go back to Sun Haven campsite and definitely recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sun Haven Holiday Park in Mawgan Porth. The team really have thought of everything to make our stay a comfortable & wonderful one. We were grateful to use the beach toy library - a treasure trove of crabbing nets, buckets, spades & even boules! Everyone seemed respectful of the facility & appeared to return borrowed items. The site also hired out beach trolleys to make lugging kit to the beach an easier task. The walk to the beach is around 15/20 mins through a lovely relatively flat woods. Mawgan Porth beach is absolutely stunning. A huge expanse of sand for rock pooling / sand castle building & then amazing waves for body boarding. The campsite was the nicest we've stayed in, facilities were cleaned throughout the day & everyone was so friendly. The children's play park was well maintained & everyone respected the 10pm quiet time. We 100% recommend a visit & hope to return with wider family next year.

Lovely site, very good showers and immaculately clean bathrooms. Great play park, coffee shop and facilities. A baby bath or large sink would be a great help for families with young babies, but we made do with a shower for our 6 month old. The woodland walk to the beach was perfect for us and we loved that we could get the bus to nearby places, so we didn't have to pack our camper up to go out for the day.

Lovely site approx. 15/20 min walk to the beach through a wood. Very clean and beautiful sunsets. Play area for kids, dog wash, beach showers and wet suit wash. Laundry room, ice block freezer and plenty of hot water in showers. My only gripe their was no hot water for washing pots.

Really nice park with fantastic clean facilities. Only thing for us was the proximity to the beach, 20 minute walk down a path that not very safe (rocky, bumpy etc). That's just our personal preference though and others might be ok with it. Lot of dogs not on leads despite the signs saying to keep on leads.

Very lovely place to stay. Everything very clean, good showers and toilets. Surrounding area also very nice, around 20 min walk through forest to the Mawgar Port and beach and also to the coastal path.

Lovely holiday park in a great spot. Loved it here. Great for taking the dogs- some really nice walks and not too far a walk to the beach either. Very clean and well-maintained site.

This was the best and cleanest site we've stayed on, staff were amazing, especially the man who took care of the showers and toilets and grounds, very friendly and helpful, will definitely be going back and soon.

I loved everything about Sun Haven Holiday Village, the beach is so close to the park and the walk through the woodlands is unreal! The staff in reception were lovely. Emma and Kim were super. I am coming back in March and will hopefully buy a lodge on St Mawgan's Cove, Sun Havens new development, if they are still available! Thank you for a lovely holiday and the next time you see me, I will own a lodge...

Stayed here with the family and the team couldn't do enough from the moment we arrived. We checked in from the safety of our car with the friendly Michelle, and were given a pack and directed to our accommodation. The site was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. The beach was a short walk through a stunning woodland - about 10-15 mins… there is a nice little café and shop on site and a great little pop up called Off The Path, which is on the walk to St Mawgan (just opposite the holiday park). Everyone was welcoming and nothing was a bother, will definitely be returning here again very soon!

What a beautiful and peaceful park, just what we needed. Located in a lovely valley, if you're looking for a sense of tranquillity and stunning country views it's well worth the visit. It's just a short walk to the nearest beach which has plenty of coastal walks to venture on if you like to explore. Staff were friendly throughout our stay and could not have done more to welcome us on arrival. We will definitely be recommending and returning ourselves.

I stayed at this beautiful park in September, all I can say is WOW!!! The park is set in an absolutely stunning location with gorgeous scenery. The static we stayed in was spotlessly clean with everything that we could possibly need for our stay. Emma and Kim in reception were great, so friendly with great knowledge of everything about the surrounding areas. Jim in the coffee shop was fantastic too. Would highly recommend this park to everyone!

This was our first camping holiday to Sun Haven Holiday Park. It's such a friendly run park, from check in at reception which is run smoothly and the ladies were really helpful. The park is very clean and kept to a good standard. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Quiet time at 10pm is a good rule to have. There is a lovely coffee shop with freshly made croissants and coffee. The walk from the park to the beach is an added bonus, leave your car behind and do the woodland 15 minute walk. Would definitely recommend staying here. We are already booked in for 2022.
