A basic campsite with an interesting history and a friendly welcome. Café menu limited, but was all very tasty. Close to the beach.

Beautiful park and location is perfect, stunning views, staff friendly and helpful. Large flat areas to camp and you can choose your pitch which is great. Generally, very peaceful, although we did have some noisy neighbours until after 11pm for 2 nights when, on check in, they stipulate quiet after 10pm but I guess tricky to police this. Only real big downside are the facilities and lack of them. I am aware they are developing these which will make a big difference and we can't wait to come back once these are in place. I feel given the fact so few toilets and showers, there is no excuse to keep them clean. I didn't see anyone clean at all over the 4 nights we were there. They were pretty awful, which was a shame. Will definitely return once they have more clean toilets and showers. My kids really enjoyed a driving lesson booked through the campsite. There are some brilliant activities on offer currently for over 12's.

Very busy on Friday and Saturday nights and a lot of people waiting to use shower and toilet facilities - expect queuing. Obviously a park that needs to build more wash up rooms, toilets and showers as the showers go hot to cold frequently. We enjoyed watching the light aircraft and the parachutists. If you don't mind driving, it's not far from Perrenporth - not for walking as it takes two hours to do 4 miles if an experienced hiker. Not the right place if you want entertainment or night life locally!

Was greeted by such a friendly guy that worked there. Talked us through everything we needed to know and was a really great interaction. Campsite was incredible, everything you could need and plenty of space. Just felt sorry for the one lady cooking all the breakfasts! They did look delicious though :)
